Marciano della ChianaAlla Rocca di Marciano la mostra dell’artista giapponese Tetsuji Endo. Sabato 10 settembre il vernissage – Dal 10 settembre al 2 ottobre 2022 il Museo della Rocca di Marciano della Chiana (AR) ospita “Velata materia”, personale di pittura di Tetsuji Endo.
La mostra è il terzo appuntamento della rassegna d’arte contemporanea “Corpi di luce” patrocinata dal Comune di Marciano della Chiana e curata da Lucrezia Lombardo e Josip Miskovic. Sabato 10 settembre, alle ore 18, l’inaugurazione ufficiale. Il vernissage sarà accompagnato da un reading poetico dedicato agli Haiku, tipici componimenti del Giappone nati nel XVII secolo, con l’accompagnamento musicale curato da Serena Meloni. A seguire una performance di Kenjutsu scuola Katori eseguita dall’artista nipponico. La nuova mostra di Tetsuji Endo sarà anche l’occasione per vedere da vicino l’attività di ritrattista che il pittore giapponese ha inaugurato di recente, per la quale ha già ricevuto importanti committenze private.
LA MOSTRA
Tetsuji Endo nasce a Chiba, in Giappone, e si laurea alla prestigiosa Università d’arte “Musashino bijutsu Daigaku” di Tokyo, specializzandosi in pittura a olio. Ha lavorato quindi come pittore scenografo al “Teatro Shinbashi” e al “Teatro Nazionale Giapponese” di Tokyo. Questa formazione e la cura meticolosa per i dettagli, unita allo studio della pittura rinascimentale italiana che l’artista ha approfondito trasferendosi nel nostro paese, rendono la ricerca di Tetsuji Endo assolutamente originale e caratterizzata da profondi simbolismi, che si richiamano alla tradizione metafisico-esoterica di provenienza pitagorica, ermetica e indiana. “Tali riferimenti – scrive la co-curatrice Lucrezia Lombardo – non intendono tuttavia delineare le coordinate teoriche di una specifica dottrina, bensì costituiscono la manifestazione di un substrato culturale che usa le immagini come via di meditazione e d’ispirazione, suscitando nel fruitore interrogativi. Lo scopo della pittura di Endo, forse, è proprio quello di scardinare le coordinate della percezione ordinaria, delineando vie d’accesso divergenti all’esperienza che proprio delle immagini si serve, per conferire un nuovo aspetto al reale”. Il titolo della mostra, “Velata materia”, vuole dunque sottolineare uno degli aspetti principali della ricerca dell’artista: fare della forma, e della matericità chiaroscurata della china applicata su carta invecchiata, la via d’accesso a manifestazioni oniriche, che spalancano verità più profonde rispetto alla veglia. In definitiva la ricerca di Tetsuji Endo si fa tentativo di creare un’armonia tra l’uomo e la dimensione originaria, dalla quale la vita scaturisce.
