Potenza ”Paradossale, due incidenti nella stessa azienda” “E’ veramente paradossale il verificarsi di due gravi incidenti sul lavoro alla Eugea Mediterranea, un’azienda di conserve alimentari di Gaudiano di Lavello (PZ). Un operaio è stato investito da un forte getto di vapore e subito è stato soccorso e trasportato in eliambulanza all’ospedale ‘San Carlo’ di Potenza, data la gravità delle ustioni riportate, l’uomo è stato trasferito al ‘Cardarelli’ di Napoli e, nello stesso stabilimento, una lavoratrice viene investita da un muletto.
Sul posto sono intervenuti i Vigili del Fuoco e gli operatori del 118, oltre all’Ispettorato del Lavoro che ha avviato le indagini del caso. L’ennesimo doppio grave incidente sul lavoro non può essere tollerato e passare inosservato. È fondamentale prevenire simili drammi, pertanto, il sindacato Ugl Basilicata, chiede alle istituzioni Regionale e nazionali interventi immediati volti ad intensificare i controlli, incentivare la formazione dei lavoratori e la cultura della sicurezza sul lavoro. L’obbiettivo Ugl è di porre l’attenzione dell’opinione pubblica, della Regione Basilicata e del Governo sul fenomeno in atto degli incidenti, delle ‘morti bianche’ e, per ribadire ancora una volta basta a queste continue e drammatiche stragi sul lavoro”. Lo ha dichiarato in una nota Adelmo Barbarossa, Reggente Regionale dell’Ugl Basilicata, in merito ai doppi infortuni sul lavoro in cui sono stati coinvolti due dipendenti nella stessa ditta e nella stessa giornata odierna.
