Il dato emerge dall’ultimissimo aggiornamento dei dati dell’Osservatorio regionale dei tempi di attesa che monitora 50 (prime) prestazioni ambulatoriali tra visite specialistiche ed esami strumentali.
Il Direttore Generale Antonio D’Urso ha evidenziato come, dai risultati, si evinca che le persone residenti nella ASL Toscana Sud Est scelgono di curarsi nel proprio territorio ed i tempi d’attesa per l’accesso alle prestazioni ambulatoriali sono rispettati in media per circa l’86% delle prestazioni oggetto del monitoraggio, con punte oltre il 90% , ad esempio, per la visita di chirurgica generale, la visita del fisiatra, dell’oculista, del chirurgico vascolare, per le malattie respiratorie. Ha d’altra parte sottolineato l’impegno necessario per migliorare i tempi di attesa per la visita dell’otorino.
Per gli esami strumentali, i tempi d’attesa sono rispettati in oltre l’85% dei casi, con 13 esami che raggiungono generalmente valori uguali o superiori al 90% (come ad esempio, per citarne qualcuna, nell’ECG, nell’ecocardiografia, nel test da sforzo, nella mammografia, nell’RMN e nella TAC del cranio, nelle prestazioni correlate alla diagnostica dell’apparato visivo ed uditivo, mammografia, ed ecocuore, test da sforzo, EMG semplice e per tunnel carpale, spirometria).
Solo cinque prestazioni presentano risultati inferiori al 75% su cui sarà necessario aumentare l’offerta.
Questa situazione di progressivo miglioramento dei tempi di attesa che si registra nel territorio della ASL TSE è indubbiamente positiva, anche in considerazione dell’incremento di disponibilità, negli ultimi mesi, nelle agende, di visite specialistiche e di accertamenti strumentali.
Il Direttore ha voluto anche sottolineare come questi risultati, siano il frutto della stretta sinergia tra la ASL TSE e la Regione Toscana ma soprattutto dell’importante impegno dei professionisti con i quali il lavoro di miglioramento continua in modo serrato per rispondere ai bisogni di salute delle persone che risiedono nel territorio della ASL TSE.
