San Giovanni Valdarno – il regista Ciro de Caro nella terza giornata di ValdarnoCinema Film Festival Terza giornata di festival venerdì 7 ottobre al Teatro Cinema Masaccio (ingresso libero Continuano le proiezioni in concorso a partire dalle 16; alle 21.15 la proiezione di “Giulia” di Ciro de Caro
e proiezioni dei film in concorso, l’omaggio al regista e attore Mario Garriba (a quasi dieci anni dalla sua scomparsa) con la proiezione di L’ultima volta che ho visto Gesù bambino e la proiezione di Giulia di Ciro de Caro, alla presenza del regista, saranno gli eventi principali della terza giornata di ValdarnoCinema Film Festival, domani venerdì 7 ottobre, in programma al Teatro Cinema Masaccio di San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo). Il festival proseguirà a ingresso libero fino al 9 ottobre con eventi, proiezioni e incontri.
La terza giornata di festival si apre già alle 16.00 con la proiezione dei titoli in concorso: Prima che sia notte di Concetto Scuto (mentre una madre racconta una favola al figlio, e il padre prepara un dolce per cena, una presenza celata minaccia la loro famiglia). A seguire La grande guerra del Salento di Marco Pollini ambientata in Italia, tra le due guerre mondiali, in Puglia dove si scatena una rivalità tra Supersano e Ruffano, due paesini, che prende la forma in una partita di calcio, espressione della rivalità fra due uomini; poi ancora Bertie mi ha scritto una poesia di Vittoria Lizzardi Penalosa che racconta la storia di una quindicenne che, dopo aver avuto il suo primo rapporto sessuale, si reca di nascosto all’ospedale per farsi prescrivere la pillola del giorno dopo. Infine, in programma la proiezione Il fronte che unisce, documentario di Zorba Brizzi che riceverà il Premio ANPI. Il documentario, attraverso il faticoso cammino in montagna lancia un messaggio di spirito di solidarietà, creando al contempo un ponte per la memoria per le nuove generazioni.
Alle 21.15 la proiezione del commovente L’ultima volta che ho visto Gesù bambino, cortometraggio realizzato da Maurizio Trapani, tratto da uno dei racconti di Garriba, che pone l’enfasi sulla necessità di riconsiderare il mondo e le relazioni tra gli esseri umani. A seguire l’evento speciale fuori concorso Giulia di Ciro De Caro, introdotto dal regista, che sarà presente in sala. Il film ci spalanca le porte della vita di una ragazza folle e stravagante che vive un dissidio interiore.
ll festival, il cui comitato organizzatore è presieduto da Luigi Nepi, docente di critica cinematografica all’Università di Firenze, si svolge con la collaborazione del Comune di San Giovanni Valdarno e del Cineclub Fedic sangiovannese, con il patrocinio della Regione Toscana e il supporto di Fondazione Sistema Toscana. La nuova direzione artistica è stata affidata a Marco Luceri, critico cinematografico e coordinatore del gruppo toscano del Sindacato Nazionale Critici Cinematografici Italiani.
I luoghi del festival: Teatro Masaccio (via Giosuè Borsi, 1); Palomar Casa della cultura (piazza della Libertà, 15).
