Si svolgerà sabato 12 novembre la cerimonia di consegna del Premio Nazionale “Cultura della Pace-Città di Sansepolcro” giunto alla sua sedicesima edizione. Il premio, come è stato reso noto nelle scorse settimane, è stato assegnato quest’anno all’attore, autore e scrittore Alessandro Bergonzoni.
La cerimonia quest’anno si svolgerà nell’Auditorium di Santa Chiara a Sansepolcro, occasione in cui sarà consegnato anche il Premio Nazionale “Nonviolenza” Ed. 2022 assegnato a Enrico de Angelis, giornalista e critico musicale, per 20 anni responsabile artistico del “Club Tenco”. Nella stessa occasione Mao Valpiana, Presidente del movimento nonviolento, riceverà dall’Associazione Cultura della Pace il titolo di Ambasciatore della Cultura della Pace per il suo impegno cinquantennale per la nonviolenza e per il suo legame con la città di Sansepolcro. Nella stessa mattinata, ricordiamo, sarà intitolato il Parco Pubblico in Largo Mons. Luigi Di Liegro a David Maria Sassoli, Presidente del Parlamento Europeo e già Socio Onorario dell’Associazione Cultura della Pace, amico della città di Sansepolcro e particolarmente impegnato nella diffusione dei valori di solidarietà, nonviolenza e apertura delle istituzioni politiche europee nei confronti delle istanze promotrici dei diritti umani, della democrazia e dell’uguaglianza.
