SINALUNGA – Posacenere nei cestini dei parchi pubblici e campagna di sensibilizzazione: il Comune di Sinalunga e Sostenibile Sinalunga promuovono le buone pratiche ambientali un gruppo di ragazzi e ragazze pressoché adolescenti di Sinalunga nato spontaneamente con l’obiettivo di tutelare e rispettare l’ambiente
Sostenibile Sinalunga è il nuovo progetto legato alle politiche ambientali che il Comune di Sinalunga ha deciso di supportare con l’obiettivo di sviluppare e sostenere le iniziative che vedono al centro la partecipazione diretta dei cittadini con l’intento di aumentare il senso civico della comunità e allo stesso tempo valutare e qualificare i servizi pubblici riguardanti l’ambiente.
Sostenibile Sinalunga sono ragazzi e ragazze, pressoché adolescenti, di Sinalunga che si sono uniti in gruppo in maniera informale per promuovere, attraverso alcune campagne informative, la tutela ambientale dei parchi, dei giardini e degli spazi pubblici per sollecitare tutti i cittadini e le cittadine alle buone pratiche e al rispetto dell’ambiente. Con questo obiettivo il gruppo si è mosso di concerto e con la collaborazione fattiva del Comune di Sinalunga per la realizzazione di posacenere da porre ai cestini dei rifiuti già presenti nei parchi e nei giardini pubblici per disincentivare la pratica di buttare a terra le cicche di sigaretta e favorire l’uso degli appositi contenitori. Il progetto di Sostenibile Sinalunga si compone poi anche di un questionario on line sulle tematiche di tutela dell’ambiente nel territorio comunale che verrà sottoposto ai concittadini tramite canali social istituzionali con lo scopo di conoscere, a titolo informativo, le loro abitudini in merito al rispetto ambientale e la sostenibilità. Infine il progetto prevede anche la realizzazione di materiale grafico comunicativo per rendere pubblico quanto fatto dal gruppo, i risultati dei questionari e opportuni eventi che verranno organizzati per sensibilizzare il territorio alle buone pratiche ambientali.
Il Comune di Sinalunga, nel progetto di Sostenibile Sinalunga e nel tema proposto, ha riconosciuto da subito un particolare e significativo coinvolgimento dei cittadini alle tematiche ambientali, elemento importante per la partecipazione attiva alla cosa pubblica.
Il progetto che i giovani di SOStenibile Sinalunga hanno presentato, merita la massima considerazione. Un progetto ampio che prende in considerazione più tematiche legate ai temi ambientali, analizzando contesti e indicando proposte, che vanno dalle campagne di sensibilizzazione, al riciclo, al coinvolgimento attivo dei cittadini, all’idea del Piedibus, fino a indicare i corretti comportamenti.
Questi giovani mostrano una spiccata sensibilità nella cura e nel rispetto dell’ambiente, perciò mi è sembrato scontato e naturale accogliere alcune delle loro idee che vanno a sensibilizzare i comportamenti, spesso degli adulti, che molto spesso rimangono critici e disattenti nei personali comportamenti. Questa proposta va intesa come una lezione che questi ragazzi ci danno, da cui non possiamo esimerci di farne tesoro. Avere rispetto dell’ambiente è un nostro e un loro dovere, perché lasciare un pianeta sano e sostenibile è la sfida attuale per il futuro delle successive generazioni” – spiega il sindaco Zacchei.
“Queste idee sono state inventate da noi ragazzi e pensiamo che in qualche modo possano migliorare, un pezzo alla volta, il nostro Comune e il nostro Paese. Il motivo per cui abbiamo deciso di intraprendere questo percorso è perché ognuno di noi si sente in dovere di evidenziare i problemi del nostro Pianeta e di dare un futuro migliore ai nostri figli. I problemi prima o poi saranno talmente evidenti da non poterli più nascondere e quindi dobbiamo agire fintanto abbiamo ancora tempo.” – spiega il gruppo di Sostenibile Sinalunga.
