Città di Castello – Nella cappella del cimitero monumentale grazie al contributo finanziario del Cif (Centro Italiano Femminile) su iniziativa di TifernArte Amore per la città, la sua storia, la tradizione e l’arte unite alla solidarietà culturale hanno consentito di riportare all’antico splendore “L’Annunciazione” di Galileo Chini nella cappella Merlini-Prosperini nel Cimitero Monumentale di Città di Castello.
Tutto questo è stato possibile grazie al restauro finanziato dal Centro Italiano Femminile su iniziativa di “TifernArte” associazione presieduta dall’artista Marco Baldicchi, che corona il terzo intervento di restauro di opere del maestro Chini presenti nel cimitero: dopo “il Compianto dell’Arcacangelo Gabriele sul Cristo morto” (cappella dei Benefattori) realizzato anche grazie al contributo dell’Associazione Palazzo Vitelli a Sant’Egidio” e del Comune, e dopo la “SS.Trinità” (cappella Castori) sostenuto dalla stessa famiglia. Il presidente di TifernArte Marco Baldicchi e il vicepresidente Luigi Castori hanno illustrato l’intervento e la storia legata al dipinto nel corso di una breve ma sentita cerimonia presso il cimitero alla presenza tra gli altri del sindaco, Luca Secondi e dell’assessore alla cultura, Michela Botteghi. “Galileo Chini – ha precisato Baldicchi – è un artista poliedrico, da inquadrare nei movimenti culturali europei della fine dell’800 come quello della Secessione Viennese e ha contribuito in maniera importante ad introdurre in Italia il gusto internazionale dell’Art Noveau”. “Rivolgiamo un appello al comune – ha concluso Baldicchi – perché incentivi l’art bonus e a tutti quegli imprenditori e mecenati che intendano sostenere questo sforzo. A tal proposito voglio ringraziare uno di questi imprenditori, che ha creduto in noi fin dal principio, Vincenzo Vandini, che anche questa volta ci ha fornito gli operai e l’impalcatura con grande entusiasmo. Voglio ricordare infine due soci, due amici, che sono scomparsi, Maria Luisa Bianconi, cofondatrice, e il professor, Corrado Rosini.” Il sindaco Secondi e l’assessore Botteghi nel ringraziare i promotori e sostenitori di questo importante recupero storico-artistico, hanno confermato di voler incentivare l’ART BONUS così da recuperare e valorizzare quei monumenti e opere che necessitano interventi.
