Città di Castello realizzato in collaborazione dall’Associazione Chiese Storiche e dalla Corale Marietta Alboni. Presso il Palazzo Vescovile, si è tenuta la conferenza stampa di presentazione del lavoro “ “L’Avvento e il Natale tra fede e arte”, realizzato in collaborazione dall’Associazione Chiese Storiche e dalla Corale Marietta Alboni.
L’evento, sarà ad ingresso libero e si svolgerà presso la chiesa di S. Veronica a La Tina in Città di Castello il 27 novembre 2002, con inizio alle ore 16. Erano presenti: il vescovo Mons. Luciano Paolucci Bedini insieme ai rappresentanti degli enti che hanno concesso il patrocinio all’evento. Per l’Assemblea legislativa della Regione dell’Umbria il vice-presidente Michele Bettarelli. Per le associazioni proponenti hanno partecipato i presidenti Paolo Bocci e Leonardo Becciu, per la Corale anche il direttore Marcello Marini assieme al Maestro Gianfranco Contadini dell’orchestra “ I Concertisti”. Inoltre è intervenuto il direttore della Caritas diocesana Gaetano Zucchini. Domemica 27 novembre il programma prevederà un breve prologo sul significato storico-teologico dell’Avvento e del Natale ad opera di Marcella Monicchi( Baccalaureato in Scienze Religiose presso l’Istituto Teologico Assisi), quindi si passerà ad illustrare le opere d’arte selezionate, curerà questa parte Romanella Gentili Bistoni, esperta d’arte. L’esecuzione dei brani musicali, che spaziano da Bach e Vivaldi, sarà affidata alla Corale Marietta Alboni e all’Orchestra “I Concertisti” diretti da Marcello Marini. Le conclusioni saranno a cura del Vescovo di Città di Castello, Mons. Luciano Paolucci Bedini. Le Associazioni promotrici, nel corso dell’iniziativa, promuoveranno una raccolti fondi a favore della Caritas diocesana, un gesto di solidarietà verso di una organizzazione che si distingue per l’impegno sociale a favore delle persone che versano in difficoltà. Il comitato promotore ha ringraziato tutte le persone, gli enti e le associazioni che hanno collaborato alla realizzazione di questa idea. Paolo Bocci ha sottolineato come per secoli gli artisti hanno realizzato lavori ispirandosi a questi due momenti: con l’arte che invita a contemplare quanto le Sacre Scritture annunciano. Un viaggio nei nostri giacimenti artistici, breve ma significativo, che ci permetterà di scoprire, o riscoprire, alcune opere d’arte realizzate per la nostra valle. Riappropriarci della bellezza sarà anche un modo diverso di prepararci al tempo del Natale, con il contributo dei nostri volontari che metteranno a disposizione della collettività la loro passione ed il loro sapere. Il vescovo Paolucci Bedini ha definito l’iniziativa “come un contributo importante all’arte e alla religione spesso insieme nel corso della storia sottolineando anche il coinvolgimento della Caritas diocesana e tutti gli aspetti meritori legati alla solidarietà”.NOTELe opere d’arte selezionate relativamente all’Annunciazione sono:
- Paliotto, formella, secolo XII, l’episodio dell’Annunciazione, realizzato per l’altare della cattedrale tifernate ora conservato al museo del Duomo;
- “Pala Magalotti”, dipinta nel 1506 da Francesco da Tiferno per la chiesa di San Domenico, ora conservata presso la Pinacoteca di Città di Castello;
- ” Pala Sellari, dipinta nel 1528 da Raffaelino del Colle per il santuario della Madonna delle Grazie, ora conservatala presso la Pinacoteca di Città di Castello;
- “Annunciazione” opera realizzata con la tecnica dell’affresco nel 1902 da Galileo Chini per il cimitero monumentale di Città di Castello.
Le opere con il tema del Natale sono:
- “Paliotto, formella”, secolo XII, l’episodio della Natività;
- “Adorazione dei Pastori”, 1496, pala dipinta da Luca Signorelli per la chiesa di San Francesco, originale conservato alla National Gallery di Londra;
- “Adorazione dei Pastori” secolo XVI, terracotta realizzata da Andrea Della Robbia, per l’Oratorio di San Giovanni Battista, ora conservata presso la Pinacoteca di Città di Castello;
- “Adorazione dei Pastori”, fine XVI secolo, realizzata da Durante Alberti per la cattedrale di Sansepolcro.
