PERICOLO DI FORMAZIONE GHIACCIO NELLE STRADE: LA PROVINCIA DI AREZZO INTERVIENE CON LO SPARGIMENTO DI SALE Il Presidente della Provincia di Arezzo Alessandro Polcri raccomanda la massima prudenza :
“La situazione è in netto miglioramento, ma dopo la neve c’è il pericolo ghiaccio che attanaglia le strade, ed invito alla massima prudenza tutti coloro che si mettono alla guida per affrontare un viaggio, specialmente nelle prime ore della giornata. Stiamo già intervenendo con lo spargimento del sale, sia la sera che la mattina, ma pur avendo molte macchine operatrici per disperdere i prodotti disgelanti, è difficile in poco tempo poter essere presenti nei 1.300 Kilometri di strade in gestione alla Provincia di Arezzo. Stiamo tenendo sotto controllo la situazione costantemente per garantire la percorribilità di tutta la rete viaria di competenza provinciale, ma ricordo la necessità delle dotazioni invernali montati, quali pneumatici da neve e delle catene a bordo. Ringrazio il personale del Servizio Viabilità, le ditte convenzionate, la Polizia Provinciale, che con il coordinamento della Protezione Civile, sono intervenuti nei giorni scorsi per risolvere le criticità della neve presenti in gran parte del territorio provinciale. Il tenace lavoro degli operatori della nostra cantoneria ci ha permesso di tenere le strade aperte, nonostante l’ intensità delle precipitazioni nevose, che in breve tempo hanno raggiunto notevoli accumuli al suolo; fino a registrare uno spessore di oltre un metro di altezza in diverse località del Casentino e della Valtiberina, arrivando a 2 metri nelle zone più esposte ai venti di tramontana. Il Piano di Intervento per il Rischio Neve ha funzionato perfettamente, un sistema coordinato dalla Prefettura e dalla Protezione Civile Provinciale, che ha permesso anche di risolvere quelle ulteriori criticità, come la rimozione degli automezzi intraversati avventuratisi nei passi appenninici senza le dotazioni invernali, ostruendo il passaggio celere dei nostri mezzi spalaneve, o il pericolo di caduta della piante poste ai margini stradali. Raccomando quindi ancora prudenza, poichè anche nella prossima nottata sono previste gelate nei fondovalle in ombra e a partire dalle quote collinari con temperature che possono scendere sotto gli zero gradi.”
