Il servizio di manutenzione ordinaria delle forazze del territorio comunale è stato affidato nello scorso mese di dicembre 2022 a Sei Toscana, che ha a sua volta appaltato l’incarico ad una ditta esterna. Nel periodo tra Dicembre e Gennaio sono state pulite circa 700 forazze, la maggior parte nelle strade ricadenti nella zona della collina che sono molto più soggette a riempirsi e per questo più pericolose per tutta la zona sottostante.
Sono già in programma interventi in tutta la città e nelle varie frazioni, nei vari mesi dell’anno, oltre ad interventi urgenti in caso di necessità. “Abbiamo puntato l’attenzione su questo servizio indispensabile per il benessere della città – spiega il consigliere con delega all’ambiente Alessandro Bandini – da tempo infatti necessitavamo di una presenza costante degli operatori che ciclicamente sono chiamati a mantenere liberi i punti di scolo, spesso intasati a causa di foglie e detriti che non permettono un corretto deflusso dell’acqua piovana. Siamo soddisfatti di questi primi interventi. La ditta seguirà anche in futuro un calendario in cui, l’ufficio comunale responsabile, indicherà i punti di maggior bisogno in cui intervenire e cercherà di rendere ciclico il passaggio degli operatori in ogni zona del territorio.”
