Verranno presentati in un’assemblea pubblica giovedì 16 febbraio, alle 17 nella Sala “Paolo Rossi Monti” della Biblioteca comunale, le linee programmatiche del Piano d’Azione Energia Sostenibile e Clima di Città di Castello. In sintonia con l’impegno che l’amministrazione ha preso con l’adesione all’iniziativa europea “Patto dei Sindaci per il Clima e l’Energia” il Piano prevede una riduzione delle emissioni di CO2 del 40% entro il 2030. “Un obiettivo raggiungibile solo con uno sforzo comune di tutti gli attori”, si legge nella bozza del Piano e l’incontro partecipativo vuole essere proprio un’occasione per informarsi sulle azioni che il documento prevede e discutere il futuro energetico del territorio in tempi di crisi energetica. La trasformazione energetica è un elemento centrale per lo sviluppo economico e la qualità di vita dell’Altotevere. È una questione di sicurezza energetica, ma anche di lotta alla povertà energetica. Le eccellenze territoriali sia per la produzione di energia da fonti rinnovabili che per l’efficienza energetica non mancano, il PAESC vuole creare un quadro di riferimento per mettere le varie forze pubbliche e private in sintonia. Illustrerà il documento l’Ing. Maurizio Zara, il prof. Federico Rossi farà conoscere le opportunità che offrono le comunità energetiche e il direttore di Execo, David Magini, parlerà delle esperienze pratiche con le energie rinnovabili e l’efficienza energetica nel nostro territorio.
