Sabato 25 e Domenica 26 Marzo 2023 In occasione delle Giornate FAI di Primavera 2023, manifestazione nazionale di punta del FAI giunta alla 31ª edizione, la Delegazione FAI di Arezzo e Provincia propone un percorso inedito nel centro storico aretino.
Il percorso indaga la Via Sacra di Arezzo, attuale Via Garibaldi, compresa tra l’incrocio con via Madonna del Prato e l’incrocio con via San Clemente: una strada ricchissima di palazzi storici dove, fin dalla prima metà del Trecento, ordini religiosi e compagnie fondarono i loro monasteri, chiese e ospedali. Scopriremo Piazza del Popolo, il poco conosciuto Monumento ai Caduti del Risorgimento, le restaurate Logge del Grano, la Chiesa della Santissima Trinità, la Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata con le vetrate di Guillame de Marcillat e la Deposizione di Giorgio Vasari, il Palazzo Barbolani da Montauto, antica dimora storica patrizia ed il Palazzo Ciocchi Del Monte, attuale sede del nostro Museo d’Arte Medievale e Moderna. Visiteremo inoltre l’imponente sede della Caserma della Guardia di Finanza, un edificio degli anni ’30 del secolo scorso, precedentemente luogo in cui, nel corso del ‘300, sorse la Compagnia dello Spirito Santo con il suo Oratorio, in seguito utilizzato come monastero femminile.Infine avremo la possibilità di ammirare la poco conosciuta Fontana di Guillaume de Marcillat all’interno dell’Istituto Liceo Classico Francesco Petrarca.I Visitatori saranno accompagnati dagli Studenti del Liceo Classico Francesco Petrarca di Arezzo, all’interno del progetto FAI “Apprendisti Ciceroni”.
Modalità di partecipazione:
La manifestazione è un importante evento di raccolta fondi, per questo ai partecipanti verrà suggerito un contributo libero a partire da 5 euro, utile a sostenere la missione e le attività del FAI.
Sarà anche possibile iscriversi al FAI ad un prezzo scontato: la tessera FAI, oltre a garantire l’accesso gratuito ai 40 Beni FAI in tutta Italia, permette l’accesso agevolato in oltre 1700 realtà culturali italiane: nel nostro territorio citiamo il Teatro Petrarca, Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi, il Museo Orodautore presso Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici, il Museo Civico di Sansepolcro, il Museo Aboca di Sansepolcro.
Giorni e orari delle visite:
Sabato 25 Marzo: dalle ore 14,00 con gruppi di massimo 15 persone ogni 20 minuti
Vista la ricorrenza della festa della SS Annunziata l’ultimo accesso per la
Chiesa è previsto per le ore 16,00
Domenica 26 Marzo : Mattina :dalle ore 9,30 con gruppi di massimo 15 persone ogni 20 minuti
Con ultimo accesso alla Chiesa della SS. Annunziate alle ore 11,30
(Santa Messa ore 12,00)
Pomeriggio : dalle ore 14,00 in poi con gruppi di 15 persone ogni 20- 30
minuti con ultimo percorso alle ore 17,00
Il punto di ritrovo per la visita è LARGO BENADIR adiacente alla Sede della Guardia di Finanza Via G. Garibaldi 247 Arezzo. Ai partecipanti delle Giornate FAI di Primavera verrà consegnato un coupon d’ingresso ridotto per visitare la Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi.
