Elia, 10 anni, un bambino di Apecchio, costretto da una grave forma di distrofia muscolare a deambulare in alcuni momenti con specifici ausili, ha illuminato di gioia una giornata memorabile ed inclusiva alla Golena del Furlo, spettacolo della natura lungo la dorsale dell’appennino umbro-marchigiano. “Insieme all’insegnante di sostegno, Chiara Serafini, vero e proprio “angelo custode” ed i volontari dei CAI sezione Montefeltro – spiegano i genitori, Tania Luchetti e Massimo Maltagliati- abbiamo organizzato una passeggiata alla Golena del Furlo adatta a bambini e adulti. I volontari del CAI , a titolo gratuito, si sono resi disponibili alla realizzazione di questo evento con l’utilizzo della Joelette (carrozzella da fuori strada) strumento utile e indispensabile per regalare a chi, come nostro figlio, ha una motilità ridotta o assente. E’ stata una giornata meravigliosa dedicata all’inclusività e che ci ha dato la consapevolezza che alcune barriere si possono abbattere. A questa bella giornata hanno partecipato i bambini, amici di Elia, genitori e tutte le belle persone che hanno voluto sostenerci con la loro presenza e che hanno così regalato a nostro figlio una nuova ed emozionante esperienza. Elia e tutti i bambini erano molto entusiasti e tutto si è svolto con la naturalezza che solo i bambini sanno dare”. “Elia – proseguono – è nostro figlio di origini cinesi, adottato nel 2015 all’età di 2 anni e mezzo. Fin dal primo incontro siamo diventati una vera famiglia, come se ci aspettassimo da tempo e per noi è stato un grande amore. Dopo 2 mesi in Italia abbiamo purtroppo scoperto la sua malattia, una grave forma della distrofia muscolare. Elia è un bambino sempre sorridente e felice con tanta voglia di stare in compagnia, giocare con gli amici e fare le stesse esperienze dei suoi coetanei. Vivere in un piccolo paese come Apecchio con la necessità di tanti servizi necessari per Elia, ci rende tutta la gestione molto difficile, per contro ci offre la possibilità di sentire la vicinanza della comunità che ci dà la forza necessaria per offrire una vita più “normale” possibile a nostro figlio. Elia è un bambino fantastico che ci ha dato e ci sta dando molto: per noi è stata una benedizione perchè ci ha reso persone migliori facendoci comprendere il valore della vita”, concludono i genitori, Tania e Massimo, nel ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno reso possibile un vero e proprio “miracolo”, quello di trascorrere insieme e senza barriere una giornata indimenticabile che si è conclusa con uno “scatto” straordinario che immortala il sorriso e la felicità sul volto di Elia. Alla allegra spedizione hanno preso parte anche gli zii di Elia, i tifernati Massimiliano Bocciolesi e Mara Luchetti sorella di Tania, appassionati di escursioni, trekking e alpinismo, iscritti al Cai di Città di Castello: “abbiamo postato sul profilo instagram la foto di Elia sorridente e dal quel momento in tanti ci hanno scritto, telefonato e inviato mail per manifestare la loro vicinanza e commozione. Una giornata indimenticabile che grazie al buon cuore di tutti e alla magia della natura è stata resa possibile”. Fra Apecchio e Città di Castello, dove da anni opera in maniera instancabile l’associazione FDM, Parent Project, attiva a sostegno della ricerca per la cura della distrofia muscolare, rappresentata da Renato Pescari, si è attivato un vero e proprio legame di solidarietà all’insegna della passione per le escursioni, la natura e il desiderio di stare insieme all’aria aperta.
