Ravenna Jazz è organizzato da Jazz Network in collaborazione con gli Assessorati alla Cultura e alle Politiche giovanili del Comune di Ravenna, in convenzione con l’Assessorato alla Cultura della Regione Emilia-Romagna, con il sostegno del Ministero della Cultura e di SIAE – Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori. Il festival vanta il patrocinio di ANCI Emilia-Romagna.Nata a Firenze nel 1969, Irene Grandi coltiva il suo talento in un lungo periodo di crescita musicale nell’ambiente fiorentino e toscano. La sua carriera ‘esplode’ nel 1994 grazie alla partecipazione al festival di Sanremo nella categoria “Nuove proposte”. Un successo rilanciato immediatamente dall’album di esordio, per il quale compone canzoni anche assieme a Jovanotti ed Eros Ramazzotti. Da allora è sempre rimasta nel pantheon dei cantautori nazionali, con una carriera ricca di collaborazioni sia italiane (Vasco Rossi, Pino Daniele, Claudio Baglioni, Elio e le Storie Tese, Tiziano Ferro…) che internazionali (Youssou N’Dour, Patti Smith…). Ma Irene Grandi è un’artista che ha sempre cercato di cambiare pelle, come dimostrano le sue collaborazioni con Stefano Bollani, i Pastis, Stewart Copeland (come protagonista della sua opera rock The Witches Seed). E lo dimostra ancora una volta con “Io in Blues”: un ritorno ai tempi in cui si esibiva nei piccoli club interpretando i grandi successi del blues e del soul. Nel nuovo progetto live troveranno dunque posto canzoni di Etta James, Otis Redding, Willie Dixon, Tracy Chapman, Sade, ma anche brani di Pino Daniele, Lucio Battisti, Mina e della stessa Irene, riarrangiati in chiave rock-blues Teatro Alighieriplatea e palchi I-II-III ordine intero € 30, ridotto 26; palchi IV ordine e galleria intero € 25, ridotto 22; loggione intero € 20, ridotto 16. Diritti di prevendita: maggiorazione del 10% sul prezzo dei biglietti venduti on-line e presso IAT Ravenna e IAT Teodorico (diritti esclusi per la vendita dei biglietti presso l’Alighieri il giorno stesso di spettacolo).
