Lo sportello “Policoro” presso il servizio Informagiovani Promuovere interventi rivolti ai giovani attraverso la riattivazione, presso il Servizio Informagiovani, dello sportello di orientamento del progetto “Policoro”. Questo in sintesi il contenuto del protocollo siglato oggi dalla diocesi di Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro e Comune di Arezzo.
Il protocollo formalizza il desiderio da parte della Diocesi e del Comune di collaborare insieme per intercettare quanti più giovani possibile, anche i cosiddetti NEET, ovvero che non studiano, non lavorano e non frequentano corsi di formazione, che coltivano desideri di auto imprenditorialità, iniziando quindi un percorso di studio e verifica, accompagnati da un’equipe qualificata, in modo da renderne possibile la realizzazione. Secondo il Piano NEET del Ministro per le politiche giovanili, i NEET in Italia nella fascia di età 15-34 anni sono più di 3 milioni. Inoltre, i dati al 1° aprile 2022 delle adesioni al progetto regionale Garanzia Giovani, contano nel Comune di Arezzo 8.368 giovani aderenti dall’attivazione della misura; un dato parziale di questo “universo” nel territorio del Comune di Arezzo. Nasce dall’urgenza di questa situazione l’obiettivo di rafforzare e consolidare la rete dei soggetti che operano per l’orientamento e promuovono azioni per l’occupabilità dei giovani. In questo senso risulta strategica la sinergia con lo sportello Informagiovani del Comune di Arezzo che da molti anni si occupa di informare e svolgere attività di consulenza. Supportando il progetto Policoro con l’attivazione di uno sportello dedicato, Informagiovani favorirà il supporto all’attività di orientamento a coloro che intendono intraprendere progetti di auto imprenditorialità. Il Progetto Policoro è un progetto promosso dalla Chiesa italiana in tutto il Paese dal 1995. Attivato nella diocesi di Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro nel 2016, vede collaborare insieme la Caritas diocesana, l’Ufficio diocesano per la Pastorale sociale e del lavoro e Pastorale giovanile. Il progetto cerca di affrontare il problema della disoccupazione giovanile, attivando iniziative di formazione ad una nuova cultura del lavoro, promuovendo e sostenendo l’imprenditorialità giovanile in un’ottica di sussidiarietà, solidarietà e legalità. “Sono molto contento dell’accordo siglato oggi che mette in rete le risorse del Progetto Policoro aprendosi alla collaborazione con il Comune di Arezzo, che ringrazio – ha detto il vescovo di Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro Andrea Migliavacca -. Il Progetto Policoro è un’importante iniziativa della Chiesa italiana che coinvolge progettualità che devono avere una ricaduta sociale, sulle povertà e che cerca di mettere insieme più soggetti per fare rete sul territorio. Un lavoro che si sviluppa attraverso un percorso triennale portato avanti da un animatore di comunità – vero pilastro del Policoro – in un cammino di formazione, che poi va a coinvolgere altri giovani, in particolare nella fascia dei cosiddetti NEET, una parte delicata della nostra realtà giovanile che rischia di rimanere in un angolo. Questo accordo è un passo di concretezza verso i giovani. I giovani hanno grandi potenzialità, idee e ricchezze da condividere. Forse trovano pochi spazi per esprimerle e il progetto Policoro può essere uno di questi”. “Si tratta dell’ennesimo progetto di collaborazione che vede impegnato l’assessorato alle politiche giovanili in contrasto al fenomeno NEET, vera piaga sociale che interessa un numero consistente di giovani e giovanissimi del territorio – ha dichiarato l’assessore Federico Scapecchi. – Attraverso progetti come questo si mira a sensibilizzare da un lato le nuove generazioni per uscire dall’inattività, dall’altro si punta a informare le aziende e le imprese del territorio che esistono possibilità assolutamente gratuite per intercettare forza lavoro. La collaborazione della Diocesi arricchisce la rete che si è costituita a supporto dei ragazzi e delle ragazze della Città, dove il Comune per tramite di Informagiovani funge da fulcro e da centro operativo”.
Il protocollo siglato oggi avrà una durata biennale con possibilità di rinnovo.
