CITTA’ DI CASTELLO – Si è svolta domenica 25 giugno la prima gara delle quattro previste valide per il “Palio delle quattro porte di balestra manesca”. Per la precisione il Torneo di Porta Sant’Egidio. La Compagnia dei Balestrieri, divisa in quattro squadre quante erano le antiche porte di Città di Castello, ha portato 20 balestrieri nella splendida cornice di Piazza Gabriotti.
La vincitrice é risultata la senese Donella Bugnoli di Porta San Giacomo che con 88 punti ha preceduto Raffaele Ercolanelli di Porta San Florido con 79 punti e Eugenio Bartoccioni di Porta San Florido a pari punti con Luca Bugnoli di Porta Santa Maria ambedue fermi a 77 punti. Per ciò che riguarda la competizione tra le Porte sorpresa nel conteggio a rilevare che si è avuto un pari merito tra le porte di San Florido e San Giacomo tutte e due con 263 punti. Particolare menzione va al balestriere Eugenio Bartoccioni, unico ad aver centrato perfettamente il centro, denominato buletta, del tasso. Prossima gara il 09/07, torneo di Porta San Giacomo
