“Un pozzo senza fine. La Fondazione Guido d’Arezzo sta approssimandosi a questo non invidiabile traguardo. Tra Consiglio Comunale e Giunta, si sussegue uno stillicidio di provvedimenti e delibere che con puntualità aggiungono risorse a favore di quell’ente. Sempre un passo alla volta ma frutto di richieste costanti che puntualmente sono soddisfatte dall’amministrazione comunale.
Noi possiamo parlare soprattutto nel nostro ruolo di consiglieri comunali: a ogni seduta in cui l’assessore al bilancio propone una variazione, spunta sempre una voce relativa a un preciso capitolo di spesa. Scelgo Arezzo chiede puntualmente chiarimenti in merito, questi vengono forniti senza tuttavia offrire un quadro organico da cui trarre risposta soddisfacente alla domanda principale: come programma la fondazione? A ben vedere, di programmazione neanche sente il bisogno, visto che la stessa può contare sull’ancora di salvezza dell’amministrazione comunale che risponde presente perfino quando si tratta di finanziare a giugno l’acquisto di un palco per gli spettacoli, che non si capisce quando verrà montato visto che il calendario estivo, a eccezione del Polifonico, è praticamente finito, o un disavanzo di 100.000 euro, la differenza tra le spese sostenute per l’Estate in Fortezza e le entrate derivanti dagli spettacoli. Ci preme soprattutto far notare l’ammontare richiesto, poi ottenuto, il 23 giugno dalla fondazione al Comune: ben 390.000 euro al di fuori della programmazione e che si sommano agli ingenti trasferimenti. Quanto poi alla classifica diffusa dall’ultimo rapporto Symbola – Unioncamere, i commenti entusiasti del sindaco tradiscono alcuni fraintendimenti: è la provincia nel suo complesso e non il Comune di Arezzo a essere preso in considerazione, siamo in quella posizione dai primi anni del 2010 ma soprattutto il rapporto elabora e quantifica la trasposizione della cultura di un territorio sul settore manifatturiero e sulla sua capacità di produrre oggetti di pregio. Non stiamo dunque parlando di qualità degli eventi ma di valori prettamente economici”.
