SANSEPOLCRO – Il Presidente del Consiglio Antonelli incontra i dirigenti spagnoli Sansepolcro e Santiago di Compostela sempre più vicini grazie ai cammini religiosi Nei giorni scorsi, il Presidente del Consiglio del Comune di Sansepolcro, Antonello Antonelli, si è recato a Santiago di Compostela, capoluogo della Galizia, Comunità autonoma della Spagna e città conosciuta in tutto il mondo per il più famoso tra i cammini, per un incontro con la dirigenza dell’ Azienda “Xacobeo” del Governo galiziano (Xunta de Galizia), preposta alla gestione generale dei Cammini di Santiago
Ad accoglierlo, il Direttore, Ildefonso de la Campa Montenegro e il dirigente Dott. Francisco Singul. Nel corso del colloquio, fortemente voluto dal Presidente del Consiglio, c’è stato un importante scambio di informazioni sulle caratteristiche tecniche di gestione dei due cammini religiosi che ci accomunano. I dirigenti spagnoli ben informati relativamente ai Cammini di Francesco, hanno ottenuto da Antonelli maggiori informazioni riguardo alla gestione complessiva italiana, carente sotto il profilo di una “governance” univoca, che possa, come a Santiago, dirigere in modo uniforme lo sviluppo e la gestione dei Cammini di Francesco tra le varie Regioni coinvolte, oltre a quelle relative alla particolare collocazione di Sansepolcro rispetto ai cammini stessi, con le ataviche carenze di infrastrutture di collegamento, nonostante una importante collocazione baricentrica, rispetto ai vari percorsi verso la città di Assisi. Nell’occasione il Presidente Antonelli ha manifestato l’interesse del Comune di Sansepolcro, ad entrare a far parte della Federazione europea dei Cammini, presenza che potrà inserire la città e il territorio della Valtiberina toscana in un circuito virtuoso, assieme a molti altri cammini di carattere religioso e non di tutta Europa. Sansepolcro, inoltre, Città fondata da pellegrini di rientro dalla Terra Santa, Arcano ed Egidio, ha quindi nella Sua essenza fondante il concetto di pellegrinaggio e di connessione tra luoghi che esprimono i più alti valori della cristianità. Quindi, anche se distanti geograficamente fra loro, Santiago e Sansepolcro, hanno molto in comune. Il Direttore di “Xacobeo” De la Campa Montenegro, ha parlato dei suoi frequenti viaggi in Europa, nell’intento di creare una rete di “cammini” che abbracci tutto il continente e di quanto la visita di Antonelli e la richiesta di ingresso nella Federazione, sia particolarmente gradita. L’invito degli interlocutori spagnoli, è stato quello di presentare un breve dossier, che possa testimoniare il legame tra il nostro cammino e quello di Santiago. Il Dossier verrà preso in esame dalla commissione preposta ad esprimere il giudizio di ammissibilità, e la speranza è quella di poter entrare a far parte della Federazione Europea, in occasione della riunione plenaria, proprio a Santiago di Compostela, nel Giugno 2024. Il Presidente del Consiglio Antonello Antonelli ha invitato sia il Dott. De la Campa Montenegro, che il Dott. Francisco Singul, a Sansepolcro, in occasione del centenario delle stigmate di San Francesco. Oltre ad approfondire i rapporti di amicizia, inutile dire quanto importanti, sarà l’occasione per sottoporre preliminarmente ai nostri ospiti, la richiesta di ingresso nella Federazione.
