Arezzo – “Più libertà, più opportunità, più equità: la scuola fa ancora la parte del leone” “Un contributo di oltre 400mila euro per i nidi e le scuole dell’infanzia sia private convenzionate che municipali e per le scuole elementari e medie statali in favore degli istituti comprensivi.
In particolare le risorse sono state destinate per le attività di pre e post scuola con il progetto “Pomerigginsieme” a cui si aggiunge un fondo per le scuole che lo richiedono a sostegno delle attività per i bambini e le bambine che vivono in famiglie meno abbienti ed in contesti di fragilità, e per l’abbattimento rette per le famiglie con maggiori difficoltà economiche, al fine di garantire a tutti la libertà di scegliere i servizi educativi, siano essi municipali o del privato accreditato. A ciò si aggiungono i 95mila euro per le scuole dell’infanzia paritarie. Il contributo è disciplinato dalla convenzione stipulata tra il Comune di Arezzo e la FISM provinciale, Federazione italiana scuole materne, per regolare i rapporti con le scuole materne non statali gestite da enti privati senza scopo di lucro e finalizzata all’ottenimento del contributo regionale appositamente stanziato secondo la L.R. 32/2002. Il contributo è interamente sostenuto da risorse comunali ed è destinato al servizio mensa, trasporto, sussidi didattici, attività educative e altri interventi. Come avevamo già detto, abbiamo aumentato la somma destinata alle scuole dell’infanzia paritarie seguendo il principio dell’offerta di maggiori opportunità e della libertà di scelta educativa. Si tratta di andare incontro ad un diritto delle famiglie, in particolare di quelle con minori possibilità economiche che grazie a questo contributo potranno avere la possibilità di accedere agli istituti privati, il tutto senza nulla togliere alle scuole municipali e statali i cui investimenti sono sempre crescenti”.
