CITTA DI CASTELLO – – La dura presa di posizione del sindaco Luca Secondi che esprime vicinanza e solidarietà ai proprietari dei cani e all’associazione tartufai altotere: “fatti davvero aberranti che necessitano di risposte adeguate da parte di tutti i soggetti istituzionali in base alle rispettive competenze” –
Andrea Canuti, Presidente Associazione Tartufai Altotevere: “chi commette reati e atti così riprovevoli nulla ha a che fare con noi tutti e con la civiltà della nostra comunità: ci affidiamo alle autorità competenti. Grazie al sindaco e al comune per la vicinanza”. “Abbiamo appreso con sconcerto dal Presidente dell’Associazione Tartufai, Andrea Canuti, la notizia dell’avvelenamento di alcuni cani. Fatti davvero aberranti che necessitano di risposte adeguate da parte di tutti i soggetti istituzionali e non, in base alle rispettive competenze. Il Presidente Canuti ha riscontrato e mi ha riferito di eventi di avvelenamenti di cani, quattro quelli finora accertati e affidati alle cure del veterinario, atti barbari e subdoli che spesso non lasciano scampo ai poveri animali e li condannano a morte certa fra mille tribolazioni gettando nello sconforto i proprietari e creando comunque anche allarme fra coloro che frequentano le zone boschive nell’ambiente del nostro territorio. Per quello che sarà di nostra competenza provvederemo ad attivare congiuntamente con tutti i soggetti competenti, forze dell’ordine e di polizia prima di tutto, controlli specifici per contrastare questo fenomeno a dir poco deprecabile che mette in luce la parte peggiore di una comunità, che dell’amore e tutela per gli animali, ha fatto sempre una ragione di vita, a partire dai tartufai che senza i loro straordinari cani non avrebbero ragione di praticare un’attività secolare, la cerca e cava del tartufo, riconosciuta nel 2021 anche dall’Unesco. Speravamo di non dover tornare ad affrontare situazioni di questo genere che condanniamo in maniera decisa e concreta per evitare ancora di riparlarne in futuro. L’azione dell’amministrazione comunale con le autorità competenti sul versante del controllo, sarà di massima severità utilizzando tutti gli strumenti che la legge ci mette a disposizione: la condanna è morale prima di tutto e poi penale e civile per coloro che si macchiano di reati così gravi”. E’ quanto dichiarato dal sindaco Luca Secondi, in riferimento alla notizia dell’avvelenamento di alcuni cani nel territorio tifernate esprimendo ai proprietari dei cani, all’associazione tartufai altotevere, “la massima vicinanza e solidarietà per l’accaduto”. Il Presidente dell’Associazione Tartufai Altotevere, Andrea Canuti, nel ringraziare il sindaco ed il comune tifernate per la vicinanza espressa e le iniziative di controllo del territorio annunciate respinge ogni possibile accostamento fra questi aberranti fatti di cronaca con l’attività ed il mondo che ruota attorno alla cerca del tartufo e alla figura dei cavatori: “noi, come chi nei secoli ci ha preceduto siamo i primi a voler bene ai cani, a tutelarli e rispettarli sempre con immensa gratitudine per quello che riescono a fare come protagonisti assoluti di un’attività simbolo della nostra storia e tradizione che l’Unesco ha riconosciuto. Chi commette reati e atti così riprovevoli nulla ha a che fare con noi tutti e con la civiltà della nostra comunità: ci affidiamo alle autorità competenti”.
