COMUNE DI LUCIGNANO – Alla Bit di Milano il riconoscimento 2024 – 2026 consegnato dal Touring Club Italiano al sindaco Roberta Casini “Siamo onorati di questa riconferma nel ristretto e prestigioso novero dei borghi Bandiera arancione dal Touring Club Italiano”, ha dichiarato il sindaco di Lucignano Roberta Casini, presente alla cerimonia di consegna del riconoscimento, svoltasi questa domenica 4 febbraio nell’ambito della prestigiosa Borsa Internazionale del Turismo 2024 di Milano
Le località Bandiera arancione, di cui ininterrottamente dal 2005 fa parte “la perla della Valdichiana”, distribuite in tutte le regioni italiane, sono borghi accoglienti dell’entroterra italiano che si distinguono per un’offerta di eccellenza e un’accoglienza di qualità: per il patrimonio storico, culturale e ambientale di pregio, per una particolare attenzione all’ambiente e allo sviluppo di un turismo sostenibile, per il ricco e interessante calendario delle manifestazioni. Rappresentano, quindi, luoghi ideali in cui trascorrere vacanze e weekend.
3.556 i comuni candidati, solo l’8%, per un totale di 281, di cui 43 in Toscana, ha ottenuto il certificato di Bandiera arancione.
“Un’importante conferma per Lucignano, che potrà continuare a fregiarsi della Bandiera Arancione fino al 2026 – aggiunge Casini – e che premia il grande sforzo dell’Amministrazione, che ha promosso e sostenuto negli anni numerose attività di promozione ed eventi e che esalta l’ottimo lavoro di tanti operatori del nostro territorio, sempre più riconosciuto nel mondo come meta turistica ambita e di qualità”.
Per Stefano Cresti, assessore al turismo del Comune di Lucignano, “continuare a far parte di questo importante network, significa continuare ad essere in linea con i valori fondamentali per un Turismo consapevole, quali la tutela del territorio e del patrimonio artistico culturale.
Lucignano, prima di tutto, è bandiera arancione per l’impegno e la cura di chi vive il luogo”.
