Pranzo a Capaccio a base di squisiti prodotti caseari locali e visita agli scavi di Paestum, sito archeologico patrimonio dell’UNESCO con le vetture posizionate a cornice delle antiche rovine dell’epoca greco-romana, hanno regalato piacevoli momenti di relax prima della ripartenza verso il tratto di strada sorrentina con la scenografica vista su Napoli e sul Vesuvio; caloroso e partecipato l’arrivo a Sorrento, dove il pubblico ha accolto con entusiasmo il rientro degli equipaggi. Nella giornata di sabato le vetture sono state esposte al pubblico a Villa Fiorentino dove una giuria popolare nominata per l’occasione ha votato le auto dal miglior design e il miglior stile: la Mercedes Benz 300 S Roadster del 1959 di De Sanctis-De Sanctis Morbiducci ha trionfato in entrambe le categorie fra le storiche (costruite prima del prima del 1980). Fra le post 1980 la Lamborghini Gallardo di Ficca-Caruso del 2006 è stata eletta per il miglior design mentre il maggior numero di voti per lo stile è andato alla Ferrari California del 2008 di Wagner-Wagner. Nel pomeriggio la cittadinanza sorrentina ha potuto assistere all’avvincente sfida di regolarità 1 vs 1 a eliminazione diretta del Trofeo Città di Sorrento: a vincere l’ultima attività sportiva di Sorrento Roads 2024 la coppia Fiorentini-Ceci, su una Porsche 911 T Targa del 1972.
