In un Paese dove la privacy è un’opzione che viene fatta valere ogni tanto, anche per far vedere che qualcosa si sta facendo, a questo vizio nazionale non poteva venir meno la campagna elettorale. Sono già alcune centinaia le segnalazioni che ci arrivano in merito, oltre a spam di ogni tipo che arriva anche nelle caselle mail della nostra associazione.
E’ una cloaca di illegalità quella che ogni giorno sommerge tutti i consumatori con la pubblicità via telefono e mail, anche se è iscritti al “mitico” registro delle opposizioni, che dovrebbe tutelare, una volta iscritti, da non ricevere sollecitazioni commerciali.
Ora che ci vogliono vendere non solo abbonamenti o prodotti imperdibili ma il voto per chi decide le leggi sugli stessi (a livello europeo, poi…) la partita in gioco è più importante e, per il combinato disposto del nostro sistema di legalità, il numero di sollecitazioni aumenta in modo esponenziale.
La questione di spam elettorale è ancora più significativa di come le nostre autorità, i nostri produttori e i nostri politici hanno grossi problemi da risolvere con la legalità.
Il consiglio che diamo a tutte le vittime è di non farne passare neanche una senza denuncia al Garante della Privacy. Ci rendiamo conto che è faticoso, ma forse ne vale la pena. Ricordiamo anche di segnalare ad Aduc le eventuali denunce, sì che l’associazione possa poi rendere pubblici i nomi dei candidati che hanno fatto maggiore abuso di questa “italianità” della propaganda. Forse questa nostra minaccia farà desistere qualche candidato?
