Nell’affrontare le sfide quotidiane della vita pastorale, non possiamo dimenticare che dietro ogni pastore c’è un essere umano con le sue storie, emozioni e lotte. Questa realtà è stata messa in evidenza dai numerosi eventi di predazione ad opera del lupo, che hanno colpito profondamente la comunità pastorale negli ultimi anni, mesi, giorni.
Il 18 maggio 2024, Gianni Pasquale Pala, un allevatore del comune di Castiglion d’Orcia (SI), ha vissuto un’esperienza devastante quando un lupo ha attaccato il suo gregge, uccidendo una delle sue pecore gravide. Questo non è stato un caso isolato, ma uno dei numerosi attacchi che Gianni Pasquale e molti altri allevatori toscani e italiani hanno subito negli ultimi mesi.
“Tutta la sera a cercare la pecora mancante ed ecco quello che abbiamo trovato… Ecco cosa ne è rimasto … Come si fa a non avvelenarci il fegato?” – queste le parole di Maria Pala che insieme ad Ignazio Delogu, allevatori di Radicofani (SI), nell’ultimo anno hanno perso oltre 50 pecore a causa dei danni da predazione dellupo. Nella giornata di ieri, 28 Maggio 2024, hanno subito un nuovo attacco, in pieno giorno. I loro 6 cani non sono riusciti a fermare i lupi che sono penetrati nel gregge uccidendo una pecora di cui hanno lasciato solamente un misero osso con un po’ di pelle fresca attaccata “sto cercando la testa (della pecora), un misero bollino ma non trovo niente… Si sono mangiati tutto” queste le parole di Maria che presa dallo sconforto per l’ennesima predazione ai danni dei suoi animali si trova ad affrontare una battaglia per difendere i suoi diritti e quelli della sua famiglia ogni giorno in prima linea.
Anna Canu, ha 58 anni e da oltre 40 anni alleva pecore. Insieme al marito Francesco allevano i loro animali nel comune di Radicofani (SI). È di lunedì 27 Maggio 2024 l’ultima predazione ai loro danni, una pecora uccisa e una ferita. Nell’ultimo anno hanno perso 3 dei loro cani da guardiania a causa del lupo e le pecore predate sono state circa 35 sempre nello stesso periodo. Lunedì scorso, 27 maggio, Anna ha munto le sue pecore di prima mattina come al solito. Mentre era occupata a sistemare la stalla, gli animali erano fuori vicino al capannone. I lupi, tuttavia, non si sono preoccupati della presenza degli esseri umani. La signora Canu è uscita dal capannone al primo sospetto e, quando ha visto il lupo, ha iniziato a urlare, ma a poco è servito: i lupi hanno predato comunque le due pecore. I suoi due cani da guardiania non sono riusciti ad allontanare i lupi. Anche Anna e Francesco, come moltissimi altri allevatori senesi, toscani e italiani, combattono costantemente contro la malagestione del lupo e si sentono impotenti e abbandonati da chi, invece, dovrebbe tutelarli. Magliano in Toscana (GR) – Un altro drammatico episodio di predazione si è verificato presso l’azienda agricola F.lli Tola, dove tre pecore sono state attaccate dai lupi: due sono disperse e una è rimasta ferita.
Francesco Tola, allevatore con 30 anni di esperienza, si trova ora in una situazione di grave disperazione, temendo il peggio per il suo futuro e quello del suo bestiame se non verranno prese misure contenitive nei confronti dei lupi. In un grido disperato di aiuto, Francesco si è rivolto al Comitato Resistenza Pastorale, che ha risposto con pieno sostegno. Questa mattina, anche il candidato alle elezioni europee per Fratelli d’Italia, Mario Pellegrini, noto per aver salvato 500 vite durante il naufragio della Costa Concordia, ha risposto all’appello di Francesco.
Pellegrini si è recato personalmente all’azienda agricola F.lli Tola, portando il suo sostegno e promettendo di battersi per una soluzione. “La situazione è insostenibile,” ha dichiarato Francesco Tola. “Se non si interviene tempestivamente, la mia azienda e il mio bestiame sono destinati a scomparire.” Il supporto ricevuto da Pellegrini e dal Comitato Resistenza Pastorale rappresenta una speranza per Francesco e per tutti gli allevatori che affrontano quotidianamente la minaccia dei lupi. L’episodio mette in luce una problematica crescente nel territorio, dove gli allevatori si sentono sempre più abbandonati e in balia dei predatori.
