LUCIGNANO – Dal 22 giugno al 4 agosto 2024 la Sala “Don Enrico Marini” (ex Oratorio del Corpus Domini) e il Museo Comunale di Lucignano, in piazza del Tribunale a Lucignano (AR), ospitano “Ànemos”, mostra personale di pittura di Giuliano Caporali.
L’artista aretino espone a Lucignano il suo personale concetto di soffio vitale. Sabato 22 giugno il vernissage di una mostra in cui sono approfonditi gli equilibri tra forma, materia, segno e colore
Sabato 22 giugno, alle ore 17.30, l’inaugurazione ufficiale curata da Marco Botti, alla presenza delle autorità locali.L’esposizione, patrocinata dal Comune di Lucignano, sarà visitabile negli orari di apertura del museo.
LA MOSTRA
Giuliano Caporali, uno dei più apprezzati e conosciuti pittori aretini della sua generazione, presenta il suo nuovo progetto nel polo museale ed espositivo di Lucignano.Il titolo scelto è già un programma, perché il termine greco “ànemos” significa letteralmente vento, ma assume anche il significato di “soffio vitale”. Da qui il concetto di “anima”, la parte spirituale dell’essere vivente, la cui presenza non è direttamente percepibile ma dimostrabile grazie agli effetti che essa provoca.Quello stesso soffio vitale sarà il filo conduttore delle opere presenti e il protagonista del sorprendente allestimento che l’artista ha immaginato per l’occasione.“Il mio lavoro attuale è orientato a esprimere la calma della mente, a manifestare il silenzio – spiega Giuliano Caporali. – Chiedo all’io di azzerarsi, convinto che debbano essere le mie opere a parlare. Cerco di mettermi in ascolto con il dipinto, cercando una lunghezza d’onda che permetta allo spettatore di andare oltre ciò che si vede, per poter contemplare la pura presenza degli elementi che compongono il quadro. Le opere sono universi di significato che chiedono di essere guardati intensamente, scavati al loro interno, con l’obiettivo di ritrovare luoghi della memoria e offrirsi a una meditazione infinita”.
“Ànemos” presenta, in uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia, quella che è oggi l’arte di Giuliano Caporali: una pittura ai margini dell’informale, gestuale e immediata, in rapporto stretto con l’inconscio. L’artista sperimenta e approfondisce equilibri e armonie tra forma, materia, segno e colore, attraverso i quali rivivere il vissuto personale che si fa collettivo, recuperare valori mai dimenticati, provare emozioni istintive e rivelare verità celate nell’angolo più intimo dell’anima.
L’ARTISTA
Giuliano Caporali, nato a Santa Mama di Subbiano (AR) nel 1950, vive e lavora ad Arezzo. Diplomato all’Istituto d’Arte della sua città, si è dedicato fin da giovanissimo a collettive e concorsi di pittura. La sua formazione pittorica è nata soprattutto dalla volontà assidua di sperimentazione che ha concretizzato e sedimentato nei complessi rapporti tra materia e colore. Dipendente dal 1976 per il Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e disegnatore per la Soprintendenza di Arezzo, ha potuto frequentare e studiare da vicino alcuni maestri del passato, da Piero della Francesca a Beato Angelico, dal Signorelli al Vasari, fino a Cimabue, per i quali ha curato elaborati grafici per il recupero delle opere, collaborando ad allestimenti di mostre e progetti architettonici.A queste fondamentali esperienze istituzionali, Caporali ha opposto un dialogo con la poetica dell’informale, traendo suggestioni dall’ambiente antico dei muri corrosi, dal rapporto tra tempo e spazio, tra pittura e architettura, natura e artificio.
Da anni espone in Italia e all’estero con personali e collettive in prestigiosi spazi privati e pubblici. Della sua opera si sono interessati giornali e riviste specializzate.
