SI PROSEGUE ALLA CAMU CON LE OPERE “LA CORONA” E “IL PARNASO CONFUSO” 25 e 26 luglio, ingresso gratuito È stato un inizio emozionante quello che ha visto la seconda edizione di “Opera Seme Festival” partire con l’opera buffa “Il matrimonio segreto” di Domenico Cimarosa martedì 23 luglio nel bellissimo chiostro del Comune di Arezzo con le musiche dal vivo di OIDA Orchestra Instabile di Arezzo.
Dopo la replica all’interno di Festival Musicale Valenzano Symphony nel Castello di Valenzano a Subbiano, il festival prosegue domani 25 e venerdì 26 luglio con le opere “Il parnaso confuso” e “La corona” nella sede di CaMu alle 21,15 ad ingresso gratuito entrambe le serate con cast diversi. “La Corona” è un atto unico con la regia di Christoph Willibald Gluck, diretto da Jen Stephenson. È la storia di una competizione tra le Muse per ottenere una corona d’alloro, simbolo di suprema abilità artistica. A seguire, sempre alla CaMu, andrà in scena un altro atto unico, “Il parnaso confuso”, sempre di Christoph Willibald Gluck, con la regia di Jonathan Kellam. L’opera classica è ambientata nel monte Parnaso, dove Apollo convoca le Muse per celebrare le nozze dell’arciduchessa Maria Teresa, ma le muse si trovano impreparate e creano una serie di divertenti equivoci. L’allestimento di Kellam prevede una trasposizione della storia nell’universo parallelo della nota Factory di Andy Warhol che tra la metà degli anni sessanta e i primi settanta divenne il simbolo della controcultura. Sabato 27 luglio il festival si concluderà in grande stile al Teatro Petrarca di Arezzo con lo spettacolo “Jazz on Broadway”. Inizio concerto 21:15 biglietto Intero euro 20, ridotto 12 in prevendita su ticket one. Questa imponente produzione vedrà sul palco ventitré giovani cantanti dell’Opera Seme International Voice Program, diretti da Gianni Bruschi, accompagnati sempre da OIDA Orchestra Instabile di Arezzo diretta dal M° Matthew Schloneger (Opera Kansas) con un ensemble di dieci elementi composto da jazzisti e dal quartetto d’archi con Lorenzo Rossi, Marna Fumarola, Erika Capanni, Elisa Pieschi. Il concerto ripercorrerà le atmosfere intramontabili di musical come “Porgy & Bess”, “Les Miserables”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, “West side Story”, “The Sound of Music”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “On a clear day you can see forever”, “Hamilton”, arricchiti da standard jazz composti da George Gershwin, Richard Rogers, Harold Arlen e altri ancora. In collaborazione con l’Associazione Music di Arezzo, il concerto prevede anche una performance con giovani danzatori americani in residenza artistica a Spazio Seme per il programma “Moving Environment” con coreografie di Leonardo Lambruschini, Consuelo Pacheco e un intervento narrativo di Francesco Botti. “Opera Seme Festival” nasce dall’incontro tra Italia e Stati Uniti, con un’apertura a cantanti in formazione e insegnanti europei e internazionali, per offrire spettacoli innovativi che guardano al passato e alla grande tradizione dell’opera lirica italiana. Tutti i cantanti seguono nel corso del mese di luglio le masterclass professionalizzanti con docenti del calibro di Martha Guth (Ithaca College), Claire Singher (Opernhaus Zürich), i rinomati Eva Mei e Mario Cassi, Alison Trainer (Boston University), Paula Guelpi (Chicago Opera Theatre), Jen Stephenson (Baylor University), Gianni Bruschi (Spazio Seme) Matthew Schloneger (Texas A&M University Commerce, Opera Kansas) e Ana Flavia Zuim, insegnante di canto e pianista per la produzione “Hamilton” di Broadway, considerata negli USA l’opera più importante del teatro musicale degli ultimi 25 anni. I cinque giorni di festival sono il cuore di “Opera Seme International Voice Program”, un programma internazionale residenziale che si impegna a offrire a cantanti un’esperienza italiana coinvolgente attraverso lo studio della lingua, l’esplorazione culturale, lezioni, coaching, masterclass, workshop su argomenti speciali e realizzazione di spettacoli, che i svolge a Spazio Seme e nei luoghi storici della città per tutto il mese di luglio. Opera Seme International Voice Program” è un programma di alta formazione nato nel 2022 volto a sviluppare abilità pratiche individuali, come creatività, gestione personale, lavoro corporeo, vocale e artistico. Aperto a cantanti, danzatori, strumentisti e musicisti, con particolare attenzione al mondo giovanile, offre un’opportunità unica di lavorare con maestri e artisti internazionali.
