Giovedì 12 settembre si apre la 40a edizione del Premio Pieve Saverio Tutino, QUARANTA ANNI DOPO, organizzato dall’Archivio Diaristico Nazionale. La giornata comincia negli spazi dell’Asilo Umberto I, affascinante complesso architettonico che ospiterà la futura sede dell’Archivio e del Piccolo museo del diario, e ospita il Giardino della memoria, spazio verde sul Tevere intitolato a Saverio Tutino: dalle 16:30, presentazione della mostra In acque profonde, indagine artistica sul rapporto fra individuo e memoria attraverso le opere di Elena Merendelli, Ines Mori, Laura Serafini; alle 17 si parla del volume Un rumore speciale. Il sottofondo della memoria con i curatori Camillo Brezzi, Luigi Burroni, Natalia Cangi, Loretta Veri ela giornalista di Rai Radio3 Monica D’Onofrio, Mario Perrotta, autore e interprete, lo storico Stefano Pivato. Edito da Forum Editrice Universitaria Udinese (2024), il libro racconta i quarant’anni dell’Archivio, «una storia densa di eventi grandi e piccoli e di partecipazione» spiegano i curatori. «Abbiamo pensato di offrire un (grosso) biglietto da visita composto da foto e testi per chi in varie forme ha instaurato con l’Archivio un legame di amicizia, e allo stesso tempo per presentarci a chi ancora non ci conosce». Un percorso narrativo fatto di parole ricorrenti che creano legami fra i diari, come futuro, calligrafia, conflitti, patria, diritti, libertà, viaggio, nemico, violenza, amore, e altre ancora, che si incontrano fra le pagine dell’Archivio di Pieve. Il pubblico che lo desidera ha inoltre la possibilità di ascoltare alcuni podcast realizzati su testimonianze conservate in Archivio, e di incontrare le donne-libro, volontarie che hanno partecipato alla trascrizione digitale di alcuni scritti, e a questi, nei giorni del Premio, danno voce. Alle 18:30, a Palazzo Pretorio, apertura de Il tesoro dell’Archivio, a cura di Cristina Cangi, in mostra alcuni manoscritti custoditi a Pieve; e nello spazio Logge del grano disegnami 2024 tavole illustrate di Giovanni Cocco, Lorenzo Marcolin, Maria Virginia Moratti, Mihaela Šuman, Fausto Tormen, ispirate da pagine dei diari migranti. Per la quarantesima edizione il Premio vuole ricordare anche la distruzione di Pieve Santo Stefano: fin dal libretto, che in apertura propone brani di memorie di diciassette pievani che nel 1944 hanno visto annientare la loro cittadina; e nella performance itinerante Il Paese della memoria ritrovata, di Andrea Merendelli, che dalle 18:45 mette in scena per le strade del paese, «un caso emblematico di cancellazione scientifica e strategica attuata dai nazisti». La performance sarà proposta al pubblico del Premio anche sabato 14.
Con Le trincee del cuore, in prima esecuzione assoluta, alle 21:45, Ambrogio Sparagna racconta in musica e canzoni gli anni della Prima guerra mondiale, quando gli italiani per la prima volta mescolarono i loro diversi dialetti e storie nell’orrore e nella fiera umanità delle trincee.
