
L’arte di Roberto Ghezzi dialoga con la natura al museo di storia naturale dell’università. Un incontro tra arte, scienza e natura prende vita a Heraklion, dove il team di CasermArcheologica e quello del Museo di Storia Naturale dell’Università di Creta stanno dando vita alla seconda tappa del progetto europeo Life on mARTS.
Questo straordinario progetto Erasmus+, rivolto a insegnanti e studenti di ogni ordine e grado, esplora l’incontro tra le arti visive e le materie STEAM attraverso l’arte, creando un ponte unico tra creatività e scienza. In questa speciale occasione, l’artista Roberto Ghezzi ha inaugurato la mostra “Life on mARTS” presso il Museo di Storia Naturale, frutto di una residenza artistica profondamente legata all’ambiente cretese. Ghezzi ha studiato le aree interne dell’isola, immergendosi – in senso letterale e figurato – nei suoi ecosistemi. Le sue tele, collocate nei corsi d’acqua e nei laghi della regione, hanno interagito per tre mesi con gli elementi naturali, dando vita a opere che non solo riflettono il paesaggio, ma lo vivono, lo raccontano, lo trasformano. Le tele sono state poi recuperate e analizzate dal team scientifico del Museo, creando un dialogo affascinante tra arte e ricerca scientifica. Questo processo innovativo, come sottolineano le ricercatrici, si è rivelato un prezioso strumento per monitorare le peculiarità degli ecosistemi locali. Le opere, ora esposte al pubblico fino al 30 settembre, offrono uno sguardo straordinario su come l’arte possa fondersi con la natura, restituendo una visione poetica e allo stesso tempo scientificamente significativa del nostro ambiente.
