Il direttore Simone Nocentini ha ricevuto i rappresentanti della Scuola Basket Arezzo Questa mattina alla Palazzina del 118 dell’Ospedale San Donato di Arezzo, Simone Nocentini, responsabile di Area Dipartimentale Emergenza territoriale 118, ha ricevuto il presidente Scuola Basket Arezzo, Mauro Castelli, e l’allenatore della squadra Under 19 della SBA, Umberto Vezzosi.
Un incontro per ribadire l’importanza della presenza di strumentazione DAE nei luoghi di attività sportiva (previsti dalle norme in vigore) e della formazione del personale delle società sportive per il loro utilizzo in casi di emergenza. Grazie al progetto Arezzo Cuore – ha spiegato il dottor Nocentini – ad oggi abbiamo circa 1400 defribillatori sul territorio provinciale e oltre 45mila persone formate. Quella di Arezzo è una delle province più cardio-protette d’Italia, a testimonianza del lavoro fatto in questi anni. E i risultati si vedono concretamente: l’indice di sopravvivenza sull’arresto cardiaco improvviso è tra i più alti. Riusciamo a portare il 40% delle persone vive in ospedale, un dato molto significativo. Tutto questo avviene per la rete di defribillatori sul territorio che siamo riusciti a costruire in questi anni”.
“È opportuno essere pronti per gestire le emergenze – ha detto il presidente Scuola Basket Arezzo, Mauro Castelli -. Noi, come società sportiva, abbiamo creduto fin dall’inizio a questa strumentazione salvavita, ed è importante portare avanti progetti in questo senso”.
“La formazione sul campo è fondamentale – ha sottolineato l’allenatore della squadra Under 19 della SBA, Umberto Vezzosi -. Visitando la Centrale del 118 abbiamo potuto capire il lavoro dei tanti professionisti di cui spesso non ci rendiamo conto”.
