AREZZO – in programma un weekend dedicato alla Chimera nell’anniversario del ritrovamento Venerdì 15 novembre doppio appuntamento: alle 16.00 al Museo Archeologico Nazionale un dialogo per approfondire i significati del capolavoro etrusco e alle 17.00 al Quartiere di Porta del Foro la presentazione di un progetto editoriale per accompagnare i più piccoli alla scoperta di Giorgio Vasari. E da domenica 17 all’interno della mostra via ai laboratori per bambine, bambini e famiglie
– Più di 3200 biglietti staccati ad oggi, oltre 500 prenotazioni registrate per i prossimi giorni e un fine settimana denso di eventi nell’anniversario del ritrovamento della Chimera, lo straordinario bronzo etrusco rinvenuto il 15 novembre 1553 durante i lavori di scavo voluti da Cosimo de’Medici intorno al baluardo di San Lorentino ad Arezzo. A due settimane dell’apertura è questo il bilancio di “Vasari. Il Teatro delle Virtù”, la grande mostra con cui Arezzo celebra uno dei suoi cittadini più celebri allestita tra la Galleria Comunale e i suggestivi spazi dell’ex Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio con la curatela di Cristina Acidini in collaborazione con Alessandra Baroni. Un’iniziativa che corona il programma di “Arezzo. La città di Vasari”, sistema di celebrazioni dedicato all’artista e intellettuale nella sua città natale promosso da Comune di Arezzo e Fondazione CR Firenze con Fondazione Guido D’Arezzo; col patrocinio del Ministero della Cultura; in collaborazione con Direzione regionale Musei nazionali Toscana del Ministero della Cultura, Gallerie degli Uffizi, Fondazione Arezzo Intour e Discover Arezzo; col contributo della Presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri – Struttura di missione anniversari nazionali ed eventi sportivi nazionali e internazionali; il sostegno di Camera di Commercio Arezzo-Siena e la curatela dal comitato scientifico presieduto da Carlo Sisi. Oltre 100 le opere esposte tra inediti, pale monumentali e capolavori provenienti dalle più note istituzioni estere, italiane e da collezioni private. Tra le protagoniste indiscusse la Chimera, opera che testimonia la genialità del Vasari “comunicatore”, che ha l’intuizione di inserire il reperto nella propaganda politica di Cosimo I. E proprio alla Chimera, nella ricorrenza della scoperta, sarà dedicato nel weekend un programma tra approfondimenti, presentazioni e attività per bambini, bambine e famiglie. Si parte venerdì 15 novembre alle 16.00 presso il Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Arezzo (via Margaritone 10) con un incontro che indagherà vicende e significati del capolavoro etrusco. La direttrice del museo Maria Gatto dialogherà con Daniele F. Maras, direttore del Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Firenze – da cui la Chimera è stata concessa in prestito – per un evento in collaborazione con le due istituzioni museali e Direzione regionale Musei nazionali Toscana del Ministero della Cultura (ingresso libero fino a esaurimento posti, prenotazione consigliata a drm-tos.archeoar@cultura.gov.it). Si prosegue sempre venerdì 15 alle 17.00 presso la sede del Quartiere di Porta del Foro, Sala Costumi (vicolo della Palestra) con la presentazione dell’albo illustrato “La coda della Chimera di Arezzo”, progetto editoriale dedicato ai più piccoli al quale si accompagna una mappa, anche questa “a misura di bambino”, raffigurante i luoghi legati alla vita e all’opera del Vasari, a cura dell’Ufficio Politiche culturali turistiche Giostra del Saracino del Comune di Arezzo e dalla Fondazione Guido d’Arezzo,col contributo di Regione Toscana, testi, grafica e illustrazioni di Giovanni Colaneri e in collaborazione con libreria La casa sull’albero. L’albo – che segue la ricerca della coda di serpente della Chimera per le vie della città – e la mappa nascono con l’obiettivo di avvicinare i più piccoli alla figura di Giorgio Vasari e più in generale al mondo dell’arte, e costituiranno il premio della caccia al tesoro che da sabato 16 novembre sarà attiva in mostra per bambine e bambini. Interverranno alla presentazione il rettore di Porta del Foro Roberto Felici, l’autore Giovanni Colaneri, il direttore della Fondazione Guido d’Arezzo Lorenzo Cinatti ed Elena Giacomin di libreria La casa sull’albero (ingresso libero). Non solo: da domenica 17 novembre per i giovani visitatori e le giovani visitatrici della mostra tra i 6 e gli 11 anni saranno disponibili laboratori, atelier, esperienze e giochi che ne renderanno i contenuti ancora più fruibili. Un’iniziativa diversa in programma ogni domenica alle 10.00 fino al 5 di gennaio, a cura di libreria La casa sull’albero. Via con “La coda della Chimera di Arezzo”: un incontro per scoprire il ruolo che ebbe Vasari nel ritrovamento dell’opera, la passione per gli etruschi di Cosimo I, il mito di Bellerofonte e Pegaso e soprattutto il mistero legato alla famosissima coda di serpente (di nuovo in programma il 5/01). Si prosegue con “Viaggio in Italia con Giorgio Vasari”, che traccerà la mappa delle relazioni intessute in lungo e in largo dall’artista (24/11); “L’arte è di casa. Giorgio Vasari e la sua dimora d’artista”, che trasformerà i partecipanti in agenti immobiliari d’eccezione (1/12); “Caccia ai tesori nascosti tra le opere di Giorgio Vasari”, un gioco per diventare veri detective dell’arte (8/12); “Il libro del disegno. Un museo portatile d’arte e di vita”, per realizzare il proprio libro del disegno a cui affidare il racconto dell’opera d’arte più importante: noi stessi (15/12); “Messer Giorgio amico mio caro. Vasari e Michelangelo: storia di una lunga amicizia”, che ripercorre gli aneddoti legati al rapporto tra i due artisti (22/12); “L’avventura di un architetto. Vasari e i grandi cantieri architettonici”, per riflettere su come un buon progetto possa cambiare la qualità della vita delle persone (29/12).
