Non c’è area, non c’è città, non c’è situazione critica alla quale i Vigili del Fuoco non abbiano dovuto dedicare il loro prezioso intervento. Io li ringrazio sia per l’attenzione con la quale rispondono ai problemi minuti che giorno per giorno si presentano, alle piccole, grandi emergenze di importanza domestica alle quali sono chiamati a dare una risposta. E li ringrazio ancora di più, se possibile, per il senso e la consapevolezza che i Vigili del Fuoco dimostrano di possedere e di attuare a confronto e a contatto con un patrimonio ambientale e culturale delicatissimo è ricco come pochi altri al mondo.” E’ quanto dichiarato dal sindaco, Luca Secondi, in occasione della ricorrenza di Santa Barbara patrona del Corpo dei Vigili del Fuoco annunciando la sua presenza alle celebrazioni ufficiali nel pomeriggio presso il Distaccamento tifernate in Via Gino Bartali. “Il loro è un compito di massima responsabilità, riconosciuto da tutti che assieme alle delle altre forze dell’ordine, di Polizia, Municipale e della Protezione Civile svolgono spesso in collaborazione e sinergia per il bene della collettività.
