A mezzogiorno di domenica 29 dicembre 2024 saranno in molti quelli che alzeranno il naso per aria sorprendendosi del suono ininterrotto ed improvviso delle campane di tutti i campanili d’Italia, e Sansepolcro non farà eccezione, per festeggiare la proclamazione UNESCO delle campane suonate a mano a patrimonio culturale immateriale dell’umanità. Accorriamo dunque a partecipare alla comunicazione di questo evento per assicurarci che non avvengano sensazioni di allarme e che ci sia giustificazione alla sorpresa che il fragore delle campane provocherà. Si tratterà infatti di un momento storico particolarmente significativo e, per certi versi, romantico ed epocale. Le campane si rincorreranno di città in città, di paese in paese, di valle in valle e, sostanzialmente e molto probabilmente, non ci saranno luoghi di silenzio assoluto ovvero non ci saranno zone, tranne poche isolata nicchia, non raggiunte dal suono di almeno una campana; è la giornata di suono nazionale.

 Suonate campane!!!” Le campane contrassegnano le ore, le cerimonie religiose, chiamano alla messa, salutano le persone che se ne vanno, sono un complemento agli appuntamenti pubblici e a volte sono state, in passato, l’elemento che con la propria suonata a distesa ha dato un allarme. Ma a mezzogiorno del 29 non ci sarà da preoccuparsi. Tutti i campanili di Sansepolcro suoneranno a distesa, assieme a tutti gli altri d’Italia, per celebrare l’importante riconoscimento internazionale; alle ore 20,00 del giorno 10 dicembre scorso, per la verità è avvenuto qualcosa di simile ma solo a livello locale; in quella serata sono stati mosse le campane, nella loro maniera più festosa, per celebrare la giornata dei diritti umani, come tradizione, ma anche per lo stesso motivo per cui saranno mosse il prossimo 29 dicembre. Le campane suonate a mano riconosciute dall’UNESCO nel patrimonio culturale immateriale dell’umanità rappresentano un traguardo di un duro lavoro invidiabile sicuramente da parte di chi sta lavorando, invano, per ottenere riconoscimenti simili, anche da più tempo. Tante le forze che sono state messe in campo potenziate dalla grande determinazione delle persone che ci hanno lavorato e dalla forza delle federazioni che sono scese in campo a partire da quella italiana, appunto la Federazione nazionale suonatori di campane di cui è Presidente la Belfontali. Un risultato che è arrivato dopo la seduta, del 5 dicembre scorso, del Comitato intergovernativo della convenzione per la salvaguardia di questo patrimonio ad Asunción capitale del Paraguay. Sansepolcro diventa protagonista nell’ambito di questo traguardo per più motivi. Il primo è che il Gruppo Campanari Sansepolcro, presieduto da Bruno Tredici, suona rigorosamente a mano le campane del campanile del Duomo e della maggior parte degli altri campanili ed il secondo è che la Federazione nazionale proprio a Sansepolcro è stata costituita. L’Unesco ha approvato l’estensione anche all’Italia “dell’Arte Campanaria tradizionale”, elemento iscritto nel 2022 su richiesta della Spagna. La Federazione Nazionale dei Suonatori di Campane, che raggruppa 23 associazioni presenti sul territorio italiano e tra le quali primeggia il gruppo di Sansepolcro, ha avuto il sostegno della Conferenza Episcopale Italiana e delle tre fonderie storiche, in attività, specializzate nelle campane: la molisana Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli, l’emiliana Fonderia Capanni e la Fonderia Allanconi di Crema. Le carte che hanno condotto al raggiungimento dell’importantissimo traguardo includevano la realizzazione e composizione delle campane, le strutture architettoniche dei campanili, per lo più associati a chiese più o meno importanti, espressione culturale e partecipativa di una vastissima comunità italiana ma anche le tecniche di suonata delle campane, tra le quali quella di Sansepolcro sembra essere una delle più originali. Il Gruppo Campanari di Sansepolcro sta dunque vivendo uno dei momenti più felici della sua storia presentandosi con un gruppo folto di persone di tutte le età tra le quali spicca un numero sempre maggiore di giovanissimi che fa ben sperare per il futuro.
