SAN CASCIANO – La Consigliera Benedetta Venezia aderisce alla Lega-Salvini Premier La Consigliera comunale Benedetta Venezia, ex candidata sindaco per il Centrodestra San Casciano, eletta inizialmente nel gruppo di Fratelli d’Italia (FdI) e dopo poco passata nel gruppo misto a seguito di incomprensioni interne, annuncia ufficialmente la sua adesione al partito Lega-Salvini Premier.
«La mia decisione di uscire da FdI, che suscitò non poche discussioni e interrogativi nell’opinione pubblica, è stata una scelta sofferta ma necessaria», ha dichiarato la Consigliera Benedetta Venezia. «Inizialmente ho preferito prendere una pausa, rimanendo nel gruppo misto, per riflettere e ascoltare le persone che hanno appoggiato la mia decisione e che, nonostante le difficoltà, hanno continuato a credere nel mio operato.»La Consigliera ha chiarito che la sua uscita da Fratelli d’Italia non è stata causata solo da divergenze di metodo e approccio politico con le altre consigliere, ma anche da una disillusione rispetto ai principi di meritocrazia che dovrebbero contraddistinguere il partito. «Mi sono resa conto che, a livello provinciale, FdI non rispecchiava più questi valori. Ho assistito con preoccupazione alla promozione da parte del partito provinciale di persone autosospese per questioni legate a intercettazioni e scambi di voti, che, nonostante ciò, continuano a godere di un sostegno significativo e gestiscono il partito nel nostro comune», ha aggiunto la Consigliera Venezia. «La decisione di entrare nella Lega è stata ponderata ed è frutto di un percorso di riflessione, supportato da un dialogo costruttivo con la dirigenza provinciale del partito della Lega, che ha portato alla creazione di un rapporto di collaborazione e fiducia reciproca», ha proseguito Benedetta Venezia. «Sono convinta che la Lega rappresenti oggi un progetto politico che può dare risposte concrete alle esigenze dei cittadini e che sappia lavorare in modo efficace per il bene della nostra comunità.» Concludendo, la Consigliera ha ribadito il suo impegno a portare avanti il mandato con serietà e determinazione, lavorando per il bene di San Casciano e dei suoi cittadini. «La Lega, sotto la guida di Matteo Salvini, rappresenta per me una forza politica solida e capace di affrontare le sfide che il nostro territorio e il nostro paese devono fronteggiare.»
