Al Bufalini ‘maratona’ record: effettuati 3 prelievi multiorgano in 4 giorni |

Inizio d’anno da record all’ospedale Bufalini di Cesena dove in appena quattro giorni sono stati effettuati 3 prelievi multiorgano che hanno permesso a 9 persone in lista di ricevere un trapianto salvavita. La lunga e complessa ‘maratona’, resa possibile grazie alla generosità di tre pazienti deceduti nell’Unità Operativa di Anestesia e Rianimazione, diretta dal professor Vanni Agnoletti, è iniziata nella mattina dell’8 gennaio e si è conclusa nella mattina dell’11 gennaio.

Le operazioni, coadiuvate dal Centro Regionale Trapianti, in collaborazione con il Coordinamento Ospedaliero Procurement di Cesena il cui responsabile è la dottoressa Alessandra Venditto, hanno visto il coinvolgimento di decine di professionisti tra medici specialisti, chirurghi, anestesisti rianimatori e personale tecnico infermieristico di terapia intensiva e di sala operatoria che, con un grande lavoro di squadra, hanno portato a termine in rapida sequenza tutti gli interventi.

Oltre agli esami standard, per garantire una corretta valutazione dell’idoneità dei potenziali donatori sono state eseguite in fase preoperatoria anche numerose ulteriori indagini di approfondimento, tra cui TAC toraciche e addominali, esami estemporanei di lesioni cutanee sospette, ecocardiografie più dettagliate, coronarografie e altro ancora.

Complessivamente sono stati prelevati 2 cuori, 3 fegati, 6 reni, 6 cornee, segmenti vascolari, valvole cardiache e lembi di cute.

Nel 2024 all’ospedale Bufalini, che è sede del Trauma Center dell’Ausl Romagna per il trattamento della patologia traumatica maggiore, sono stati effettuati 73 prelievi di organi, un dato in aumento rispetto al 2023 dove gli organi prelevati erano stati 62.
