Domenica 2 marzo è la data da segnare sul calendario per chi ama il “Carnevale in piazza”, l’evento che l’amministrazione comunale promuove ogni anno, nel segno della tradizione e dell’identità tifernate, insieme alle società rionali, alle pro loco e al mondo dell’associazionismo cittadino. “Dalle ore 15.00 piazza Matteotti sarà ancora una volta il punto di ritrovo per i bambini in maschera con i genitori e i nonni, ma anche per chiunque, a tutte le età, a Carnevale vuol far festa e divertirsi nel nostro centro storico. Un pomeriggio che davvero non può mancare nella programmazione degli eventi della nostra comunità e che siamo già in grado di confermare, dopo l’incontro con le società rionali e le pro loco del territorio, ancora una volta in prima linea nella manifestazione, con generosità e voglia di fare”, anticipa l’assessore al Commercio e al Turismo Letizia Guerri. “Animazione per bambini, musica per tutte le età, sorprese e i dolci tipici della gastronomia locale saranno gli ingredienti immancabili di un evento che costruiremo nel prossimo mese cercando di offrire un’opportunità di stare insieme allegra e spensierata, come nella migliore tradizione di Città di Castello”, continua Guerri, che per tutti i particolari dà appuntamento ai giorni immediatamente precedenti l’evento.
