L’azzardo a Sansepolcro: un incontro di sensibilizzazione attraverso le voci del territorio dal 1600 a oggi
Appuntamento il 21 marzo alle 18 presso il Centro di Aggregazione Bellavista nell’ambito del progetto “PIÙ Gioco MENO Azzardo Si svolgerà venerdì 21 marzo alle ore 18 presso il Centro di Aggregazione Sociale Bellavista di Sansepolcro un incontro di informazione e sensibilizzazione sul gioco d’azzardo patologico.
L’evento rappresenta il primo appuntamento pubblico del progetto “PIÙ Gioco MENO Azzardo”, iniziativa promossa dal Servizio Dipendenze (Ser.D.) Valtiberina con il sostegno della Regione Toscana e la collaborazione di numerosi partner del territorio. Dopo i saluti del presidente del Circolo Bellavista e un’introduzione di Arci Arezzo, la serata entrerà nel vivo con un approfondimento sul gioco d’azzardo nella storia curato da Andrea Merendelli. Le testimonianze di chi è riuscito a superare la dipendenza saranno invece al centro dell’intervento dell’associazione “Mi rimetto in gioco”, gruppo di auto-aiuto che da vent’anni supporta giocatori d’azzardo e familiari. A seguire, gli operatori del Ser.D. illustreranno le caratteristiche del fenomeno in Valtiberina e i percorsi di supporto disponibili. Spazio poi a una fase di dialogo con il pubblico presente, prima del buffet conclusivo. L’appuntamento fa parte di un calendario di iniziative che nel 2025 coinvolgerà la Valtiberina con incontri pubblici, attività educative e laboratori rivolti a giovani e adulti. Tra le iniziative in programma un temporary shop per distinguere tra gioco sano e azzardo, un evento per le scuole e per i ragazzi dai 18 ai 29 anni che si svolgerà durante il Festival dei Cammini di Francesco, oltre a numerose altre attività di sensibilizzazione. “L’incontro del 21 marzo e quelli che seguiranno negli altri comuni – spiega il dottor Marco Baldi, responsabile del Ser.D. Valtiberina – saranno un’occasione di confronto e informazione su un fenomeno che rappresenta una sfida per la salute pubblica e il tessuto sociale. È essenziale fornire strumenti di prevenzione e contrasto a persone di tutte le età”. “La prevenzione del gioco d’azzardo è un tassello chiave nella programmazione operativa annuale della Valtiberina – sottolinea Giampiero Luatti, direttore della Zona distretto – Il nostro impegno, grazie a tutti gli attori coinvolti, proseguirà per tutto l’anno al fine di promuovere maggior consapevolezza sui rischi delle dipendenze e sensibilizzare la comunità sul tema grazie a iniziative di forte valenza sociale come questa del 21 marzo”. mPIÙ Gioco MENO Azzardo” è un progetto della Zona Distretto Valtiberina della Asl Toscana Sud Est, coordinato dal Ser.D. Valtiberina con il sostegno della Regione Toscana. Sono numerosi i partner del territorio che collaborano alle attività, tra cui L’Albero e la Rua Società Cooperativa Sociale, il Teatro Stabile di Anghiari, Arci Arezzo, Fondazione Progetto Valtiberina, Effetto K, SPI CGIL, UIL Pensionati e Oratorio Pompeo Ghezzi.
