Dopo un video introduttivo sul nuovo volume, con opere d’arte animate anche dall’uso dell’intelligenza artificiale, sono intervenuti Luca Benvenuti, Presidente della Fondazione Ivan Bruschi, Eugenio Giani, Presidente Regione Toscana, Gabriele Gori, Direttore Fondazione CR Firenze, Laura Feliciotti, Head of Patrimonio Artistico della Direzione Arte, Cultura e Beni Storici di Intesa Sanpaolo e Carlo Sisi, Conservatore della Fondazione Ivan Bruschi. Luca Benvenuti, Presidente della Fondazione Ivan Bruschi, hadichiarato: “Grazie alla preziosa e professionale guida del nostro Conservatore Carlo Sisi, la Casa Museo di Ivan Bruschi ad Arezzo si è dotata di un nuovo catalogo attuale nella forma e nei contenuti. Uno strumento capace di accompagnare il lettore nella visita alle collezioni ma anche nello studio del ricchissimo patrimonio conservato che conta più di diecimila pezzi, dagli Etruschi fino all’importante nucleo di opere toscane dal Cinquecento all’Ottocento grazie al comodato ricevuto da Intesa Sanpaolo. Prima banca italiana che oltre a offrire da anni una rilevante collaborazione nella realizzazione di mostre ed eventi, in sinergia anche con Gallerie d’Italia, sta investendo in maniera significativa per rendere sempre più fruibile la visita al nostro Palazzo del Capitano.” Il volume, a cura di Carlo Sisi, si compone di 136 pagine – suddivise in 8 sezioni, due delle quali presentano un approfondimento storico artistico considerato il particolare nucleo collezionistico trattato – e di 101 schede analitiche relative alle principali opere esposte all’interno della Casa Museo. I saggi e le schede sono stati redatti dai seguenti studiosi: Martina Becattini, curatrice degli arredi e della quadreria del Museo Stibbert; Isabella Droandi storica dell’arte e restauratrice; Riccardo Franci, curatore dell’armeria del Museo Stibbert; Lucia Pagnini, archeologa; Francesco Maria Rossi, giornalista e curatore della Raccolta Rurale Casa Rossi; Ada Salvi, funzionaria archeologa Soprintendenza Archeologica Belle Arti e Paesaggio per le province di Siena, Grosseto e Arezzo; Carlo Slavich, docente di Epigrafia Latina e Storia Romana dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze; Franca Maria Vanni consulente della sezione Numismatica della Fondazione Bruschi.Per la copertina è stata scelta una linea grafica che valorizza le opere selezionate fra le più significative tra quelle conservate nella Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi tra cui il Cristo redentore di Giovanni della Robbia, il dipinto Sul prato di Armando Spadini, la Tanagrina di fine IV-III secolo a. C fino al Ventaglio mandarino della metà XIX secolo e alla Madonna col Bambino fra Sant’Agostino e Santa Caterina d’Alessandria di Luca di Paolo di Niccolò da Matelica. Il catalogo, edito dalla casa editrice Magonza, si avvale delle foto di Michele Alberto Sereni ed è rappresentativo dell’arte e dell’antiquariato dalla preistoria fino al Novecento, un prezioso strumento di lavoro per gli studiosi e per il visitatore come guida agile ed esaustiva.
