chiuso da oltre 4 anni a seguito di alcune vicende giudiziarie, non a carico del Comune, concluse con l’assoluzione dell’allora gestore dell’impianto sportivo. Mi preme sottolineare e ribadire quanto già ampiamente previsto nella documentazione tecnica: la ripresa dell’attività sportiva dovrà rispettare i limiti di rumore previsti dal piano di classificazione acustica comunale, eventualmente mediante la realizzazione di opere di mitigazione; sarà inoltre necessario realizzare un impianto di irrigazione efficace ed efficiente lungo tutto il percorso della pista per garantire l’abbattimento delle polveri. Queste due prescrizioni garantiranno il rispetto della legge, la tutela dei soggetti sportivi interessati a riqualificare l’impianto e le legittime istanze dei residenti che vivono a Ponte alla Chiassa e a Giovi. Tuttavia sono disponibile ad incontrare tutti coloro che volessero maggiori informazioni in merito, nell’ottica di un confronto serio e cordiale scevro dalle polemiche che il PD ha sollevato. Inoltre è auspicabile quanto probabile che il futuro utilizzo dell’area sportiva coinvolga anche moto elettriche e bici da ciclocross, attività che non darebbero luogo a particolari disagi. Detto questo, è utile fare esercizio di memoria, come sarebbe stato utile ai consiglieri del PD, circa la storia di questo impianto, che nasce a settembre del 1992 con una delibera illegittima dell’allora Giunta comunale guidata dal Sindaco Vannucci, che aveva affidato le deleghe in materia sportiva all’Assessore Caporali. L’illegittimità deriva dal fatto che il terreno interessato era un’area agricola nella quale non era possibile effettuare particolari trasformazioni, così come non era idoneo l’esercizio dell’attività sportiva. Il nuovo strumento urbanistico approvato nel 2022 ha invece modificato la destinazione d’uso del terreno, rendendo oggi possibile l’utilizzo sportivo. Tutto ciò non è una mia considerazione, ma è scritto nella sentenza che ha assolto il precedente gestore dell’impianto. La destinazione per attività sportiva dell’area, all’aperto visto l’elevato rischio idraulico che la affligge, fu discussa nel maggio 2020 dalla Commissione Assetto del Territorio, su proposta dell’Ufficio Sport e dell’Ufficio Patrimonio: allora il PD si astenne, mentre oggi fa una sterile polemica che respingo al mittente. Il mio obiettivo è dotare nuovamente la città di un’area per i praticanti di moto e ciclocross, stavolta a norme di legge, visti anche i numerosi solleciti in tal senso ricevuti dagli appassionati che vogliono fare sport in sicurezza, nel rispetto delle norme e dei residenti”.
