PIEVE SANTO STEFANO – Non è mai superfluo fermarsi a riflettere, né si esaurisce mai il valore di scoprire le storie degli altri. Esse trovano spazio nelle nostre vite e devono continuare a trovarlo, perché attraverso i racconti di chi ci ha preceduto, nutriamo il nostro presente e costruiamo il nostro futuro. nella  Giornata Internazionale dei Diritti delle Donne, vogliamo rivolgere un pensiero a tutte le donne, un pensiero che sia vicinanza e memoria, un abbraccio ideale che attraversi il tempo e le esperienze.

A tutte coloro che affrontano le sfide che la vita pone loro davanti, dedichiamo il nostro ascolto, oggi come ogni giorno, raccogliendo, conservando e condividendo storie che meritano di essere lette, comprese e custodite. Per questo oggi vi proponiamo il racconto di Maria Rossi, un testo che abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere durante il Premio Pieve nel 2004. Maria era con noi, ha raccontato la sua storia dal palco, e oggi quella stessa storia vive nel nostro archivio. Abbiamo scelto di pubblicarla sul sito “I diari di Pieve” e di condividerne un estratto, accompagnato da una breve introduzione, per invitarvi a scoprire e immergervi nelle sue parole. Con una scrittura intensa e sincera, Maria rompe il silenzio e affida alla pagina ciò che per anni è rimasto inascoltato: le violenze subite dal marito, sposato nel 1965 quando aveva solo diciannove anni. Dopo la nascita del figlio cerca aiuto, ma trova porte chiuse. Le aggressioni si estendono dalla casa alla piccola attività commerciale che la coppia gestisce. Maria non smette di cercare libertà. Si impegna in politica, lavora in fabbrica, poi rileva una pizzeria ad Arezzo, rendendola un successo con sacrificio e determinazione. Ma la violenza non si arresta: il marito la attira con un pretesto sulla sua auto e l’ennesima brutalità si consuma. Intorno, l’indifferenza pesa come un’ombra. Cinquant’anni dopo, qualcosa è cambiato, ma non abbastanza. Maria trova la forza di risollevarsi grazie al sostegno di uno psicologo e all’amore del figlio. Dopo anni, ha il coraggio di raccontare la sua storia. Noi la custodiamo e la condividiamo, affinché nessuna voce resti più inascoltata. Compare in Pizzeria verso le ore 18,30 poco più – è l’Orario di apertura mi chiede, di andare con lui, solo 5 minuti mi deve PARLARE lo le dico non posso siamo già aperti e, non posso assentarmi. Siamo in centro ad Arezzo.
Lui insiste per piacere ti prego solo 5 minuti e ti riaccompagno…Vado e succede… intraprende la Pugliola non fa una parola…COME I0 li domando <ma dove andiamo? > lui era già un altro

Allora sì che si altera…e inizia a darmi BOTTE in faccia
Guidava e picchiava come un…
Io con il sangue al naso ormai dappertutto lo imploro di girare ma no non gira. fin tanto che siamo arrivati a Giovi poi, poi gira e mi riaccompagna. Aveva detto che voleva parlare con me…quello che fece con me fu <SOLO BOTTE> non una parola. Sono rientrata Maculata in faccia il ragazzo che lavora con me Mi guarda e mi domanda: < cosa ti è successo?> io nulla-nulla Ma no, non era così … era successo una cosa grave, gravissima. E quella non fu ne la prima ne l’ultima volta.
Si dovevo fare una denuncia ma non la feci, perché nemmeno loro ti credono, così come il resto della società. Infatti ero già stata in Caserma della mia residenza ma il bel Signore no-non fece neppure il VERBALE. Poi tu vatti a fidare. Si parlo di molti anni fa, oggi è molto migliorato <sul punto> Ora mi INTERROGO come poter fare ADESSO che CREDO sempre Più che, sia Lui che ha problemi e no io come lui mi ha sempre Scaricato addosso dicendomi sempre che non capisco nulla Esattamente come avevo visto bene tutto il mio futuro nel primo anno di Matrimonio, che allora solo 19 anni, potevo pure sbagliarmi ma adesso no NON Ml SBAGLIO. Da tempo ormai mi occupo da sola per tutto e per tutti lui compreso, che no non mette mai una lira per la spesa da anni…Non compra mai neppure un pane …Un giorno li ho chiesto dieci mila lire per fare la spesa appunto Successe il finimondo mi rovesciò il tavolo addosso Apparecchiato … fu allora che andai dai Carabinieri e no non fece Neppure il VERBALE come non ci fossi andata … per il Carabiniere di turno come non fosse successo nulla e-menomare andai con il figlio per essere meglio creduta ecco non ti ascoltano no non ti Credono-non ti credevano… Allora — oggi e migliore – molto rispetto à quel tempo Ma pur sempre poco ciò che si fa vista l’entità dei drammi…
