Venerdi 25 Aprile, 80esimo anniversario della Liberazione d’Italia, Città di Castello celebrerà la ricorrenza con un corteo che partirà alle 10:00 da Piazza Venanzio Gabriotti guidato dal gonfalone del comune con il sindaco Luca Secondi, le autorità, l’Anpi e le associazioni combattentistiche, per un momento di ricordo e commemorazione ai caduti.
Raggiunto il monumento alla Resistenza Altotiberina in viale Vittorio Veneto, sono previsti gli interventi delle Autorità Istituzionali, delle associazioni combattentistiche e la deposizione della corona. Sarà presente la Fanfara dei Bersaglieri di Gubbio e la Filarmonica G. Puccini, diretta dal maestro Nolito Bambini. Questo il percorso del corteo: Piazza Venanzio Gabriotti (Palazzo Comunale), Corso Cavour, Piazza Giacomo Matteotti, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo 22 Luglio, Viale Vittorio Veneto (Stele alla Resistenza Valtiberina), e ritorno con lo stesso percorso. Le celebrazioni ufficiali del 25 Aprile rientrano nell’ambito del programma dell’80 anniversario della Liberazione di Città di Castello, programmate lo scorso anno dal comitato, dalla Presidenza del Consiglio Comunale e dalla Amministrazione Comunale.
