LA CONTRARIETÀ DEL CLUB ALPINO ITALIANO Il CAI sostiene e rafforza la posizione del Gruppo regionale CAI Veneto contro il progetto di legge regionale che prevede la possibilità per i veicoli a motore dei cacciatori di percorrere i sentieri montani.
Il Club Alpino Italiano Sede centrale prende posizione e sostiene il Gruppo regionale CAI Veneto contro il progetto di legge regionale numero 189 che prevede la possibilità per i veicoli a motore dei cacciatori di percorrere i sentieri montani, mantenendo però il divieto per escursionisti e turisti di percorrere in auto i medesimi itinerari
Dopo l’Umbria, con la presentazione di una legge che sarà rivista dal legislatore, che permetteva la circolazione dei veicoli a motore su sentieri, mulattiere e piste forestali, salvo specifici divieti segnalati, oggi il Veneto rischia un passo falso con la possibile circolazione dei fuoristrada. I sentieri sono infrastrutture utili alla mobilità dolce, asset portante della nuova economia dei territori montani e delle aree interne. Il disegno di legge, in discussione oggi al Consiglio regionale del Veneto e contro cui sono stati presentati 106 emendamenti, nasce nel 2018 e fin dall’inizio il GR CAI Veneto e la Commissione Tutela Ambiente montano Veneto e Friuli-Venezia Giulia si sono opposti al provvedimento insieme ad altre Associazioni ed Enti, con il risultato che la maggioranza politica al governo della Regione non la porta al voto in Consiglio. Il progetto di legge viene poi riproposto nel 2023 e GR e CITAM VFG reiterano l’opposizione chiedendo un’audizione nella Commissione Regionale dedicata. Il testo del provvedimento attuale è di fatto il testo del 2023 e anche in questo caso, dal momento della presentazione, sono state esposte le argomentazioni contrarie. In particolare il Cai Veneto si è fatto parte attiva in alcuni tra gli emendamenti presentati per migliorare la normativa in approvazione. Oggi inizia l’esame degli emendamenti e si spera in una inversione e aggiustamento del ddl iniziale, viste la vasta platea che si sta opponendo . “Possiamo affermare, anche come CAI Centrale, che tali normative vanno contro i nostri principi di tutela del territorio, degli ecosistemi e della biodiversità, principi sanciti dal nuovo articolo 9 della costituzione”, afferma il delegato ambiente Mario Vaccarella. “In particolare, proprio perché i mezzi fuoristrada creano un danno ambientale nei territori montani”, conclude Vaccarella
