E’ previsto un incontro informativo anche con i cittadini Sabato 17 maggio, dalle ore 9:30 ad Arezzo, presso la Sala dei Grandi del Palazzo della Provincia, si terrà l’Assemblea Generale annuale del Coordinamento Provinciale delle Organizzazioni di Volontariato di Protezione Civile.
All’incontro, presieduto dal Presidente della Provincia di Arezzo, Alessandro Polcri, parteciperanno i delegati delle 61 Associazioni che operano sul territorio aretino per la mitigazione dei rischi derivanti da calamità naturali, per il supporto alla gestione delle emergenze e l’assistenza alla popolazione. I partecipanti all’assemblea rappresentano gli oltre 2000 volontari del territorio provinciale. Nell’assise, dopo i saluti istituzionali di Provincia, Comune e Prefettura, sono previste due sessioni: la prima di rendicontazione ed analisi delle attività svolte negli ultimi due anni e la seconda di programmazione delle attività future. In contemporanea all’Assemblea, all’esterno in piazza della Libertà, a partire dalle ore 9:00 e per l’intera mattinata, il Volontariato di Protezione Civile incontrerà la popolazione con 10 postazioni dedicate ai vari moduli utilizzati per il superamento delle emergenze. I cittadini potranno così comprendere meglio la complessità ed il livello di preparazione del mondo del volontariato anche grazie all’esposizione dei mezzi e delle attrezzature utilizzate nel soccorso ed assistenza alla popolazione.
