L’iniziativa il prossimo 27 maggio Al fine di diffondere la conoscenza della Convenzione ONU sui diritti dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza, attraverso i propri canali social il Comune di Arezzo aderisce all’iniziativa DIRITTIINCOMUNE, promossa da ANCI e UNICEF Italia in occasione del 34° anniversario della ratifica italiana che si terrà il prossimo 27 maggio.
L’iniziativa si inserisce all’interno del programma UNICEF Città amiche dei bambini e degli adolescenti e del protocollo d’intesa tra ANCI e UNICEF Italia, volto a sottolineare il ruolo cruciale dei Comuni nell’attuazione dei principi sanciti dalla Convenzione.
Il tema centrale dell’edizione 2025 è il diritto all’ascolto e alla partecipazione dei bambini e degli adolescenti, sancito dall’articolo 12 della Convenzione ONU. Il Comune di Arezzo riconosce l’importanza di coinvolgere attivamente le nuove generazioni nei processi decisionali che le riguardano, sostenendo percorsi di cittadinanza attiva e promuovendo occasioni di dialogo e confronto.
L’adesione a DIRITTINCOMUNE rappresenta un impegno simbolico ma significativo e contribuisce a rafforzare una cultura dei diritti dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza, basata su ascolto, partecipazione e rispetto. Con questa scelta, il Comune di Arezzo riafferma il proprio impegno a favore delle politiche di inclusione, ascolto e partecipazione dei più giovani, nella convinzione che una comunità realmente attenta ai diritti dell’infanzia sia una comunità più giusta, equa e solidale per tutti.
