Lucignano A tarda sera il verdetto che chiude un’edizione da record: tripudio in Piazza delle Logge per l’assegnazione del Grifo d’Oro al rione giallo-rosso. Svelato il tema della prossima edizione: le Olimpiadi
Si è chiusa in una Piazza delle Logge gremita fino all’inverosimile e dove ancora non si era spenta l’eco della “battaglia dei fiori”, con petali sparsi a testimoniare la gioiosa tradizione, l’86ª edizione della Maggiolata Lucignanese, uno degli appuntamenti folkloristici più attesi della Toscana. Il verdetto finale, accolto da un’ovazione collettiva, ha sancito la vittoria del rione Via dell’Amore, che con il carro “Le tre dottrine” si è aggiudicato il Grifo d’Oro 2025, tra un tripudio di bandiere, cori e un’ondata di entusiasmo portata soprattutto dai tantissimi giovani presenti. Il carro giallo-rosso si è distinto per originalità e potenza espressiva, convincendo la giuria, presieduta da Piera Levi-Montalcini e raccogliendo l’applauso unanime del pubblico. Con la vittoria dell’edizione 2025, Via dell’Amore sale a 5 trionfi nell’albo d’oro, istituito dal 1997, dove svettano a quota 9 i nero-bianchi di Porta San Giusto, mentre appaiati a 6 troviamo giallo-verdi (Porta San Giovanni) e rosso-blu (Porta Murata).
Ma non sono mancati gli elogi per i carri proposti da tutti gli altri rioni, realizzati con oltre 100mila fiori sostituiti ad ogni uscita: grande apprezzamento per “Il drago: tra sogno e leggenda” di Porta Murata, “Bushido – La via del guerriero” di Porta San Giusto e “Oltre la notte, il mondo di Chang’è” di Porta San Giovanni. L’altissimo livello dei carri sul tema “Oriente: miti e tradizioni”, frutto di mesi di studio, lavoro artigianale e passione popolare, ha reso l’edizione 2025 una delle più memorabili di sempre. Poco prima della proclamazione, il sindaco Roberta Casini ha svelato il tema dell’edizione 2026:
“I Giochi Olimpici – Tra antichità e attualità”, accolto da un’ovazione del pubblico. “Siamo fieri di ciò che Lucignano ha saputo esprimere – ha dichiarato Casini – perché qui non vince solo un rione, vince un’intera comunità. La Maggiolata è la testimonianza viva di un’identità forte, capace di unire generazioni, talenti, storie diverse in un’unica, grande festa del paese. Abbiamo superato ogni aspettativa”.
I numeri lo confermano: oltre 15.000 presenze distribuite nelle quattro uscite, un vero e proprio record per la manifestazione, senza contare le migliaia di visitatori e turisti agli stand gastronomici e al Museo durante tutta la settimana maggiolina. I dati proiettano l’evento in una dimensione che va oltre i tradizionali confini: Toscana, Lazio, Umbria, Marche, Emilia Romagna, Campania e Puglia le regioni più rappresentate, con numerose presenze turistiche internazionali nel periodo, per la soddisfazione degli operatori. Forte anche l’impatto mediatico: engagement social ai massimi storici, si parla di oltre 3 milioni di visualizzazioni dei contenuti social nell’ultimo mese, content creators provenienti da tutta Italia e dall’estero (anche dalla Cina) che hanno documentato e rilanciato la bellezza dell’evento; attenzione costante da parte di televisioni, testate giornalistiche, portali specializzati. E se nella giornata inaugurale le principali autorità ed istituzioni, dal presidente della Regione Toscana Eugenio Giani al Prefetto Clemente Di Nuzzo, fino al Comandante provinciale dei Carabinieri Col.
