A scendere in campo nel tappeto verde dello stadio di Viale Europa tirato a lucido, saranno cinque formazioni in rappresentanza del comune di Città di Castello, della Guardia di Finanza, dell’Arma dei Carabinieri, della Polizia di Stato e Vigili del Fuoco. “Iniziamo la stagione di queste simpatiche sfide calcistiche in amicizia, avviate qualche anno fa, con un torneo di calcio a otto che vede alternarsi squadre in rappresentanza delle forze dell’ordine e associazioni. Sarà ancora una festa in amicizia aperta a tutta la cittadinanza, ad ingresso libero che segna un punto di partenza delle numerose attività estive anche attraverso lo sport”, ha dichiarato il sindaco, Luca Secondi, “capitano” della formazione del comune tifernate che annovera amministratori e dipendenti pronti a cimentarsi con 30 minuti di sano agonismo ad ogni incontro, nel corso della conferenza stampa di presentazione assieme ai rappresentanti di guardia di finanza, la comandante della compagnia di Città di castello, Claudia Mossali, della polizia di stato con il vice-questore aggiunto, Adriano Politano, i carabinieri con il luogotenente, Daniele Remedia ed i vigili del fuoco, con Andrea Perri, ufficiale del distaccamento di Città di Castello ed il capo reparto esperto, Elio Peli. Prima di procedere ai sorteggi per la composizione dei gironi e il calendario delle gare il sindaco Luca Secondi ha ringraziato per la consueta e preziosa collaborazione la lega nazionale dilettanti, comitato regionale umbro e l’associazione italiana arbitri, unitamente a coloro che hanno contribuito alla organizzazione dell’evento, il cavalier Lucio Ciarabelli (titolare di Cartoedit) ed il gruppo Gala. Al termine delle sfide in campo come di consueto ci sarà spazio per il “terzo tempo” ll’annuncio della destinazione benefica dei fondi raccolti.
