“Premesso che con l’arrivo della stagione primaverile ed estiva si intensifica la presenza di zanzare sul territorio, causando disagio alla cittadinanza, soprattutto nelle ore serali e notturne: che in determinate condizioni ambientali, alcune specie di zanzare (es. Aedes albopictus – zanzara tigre) possono essere potenziali vettori di malattie infettive (come virus del Nilo Occidentale, dengue, chikungunya, ecc.); che è compito dell’Amministrazione comunale predisporre idonei interventi di prevenzione e contenimento della proliferazione delle zanzare, tramite campagne di disinfestazione programmata e informazione alla cittadinanza; Considerato che negli ultimi anni numerosi cittadini hanno segnalato un peggioramento delle condizioni di vivibilità, in particolare in alcune aree verdi, parchi pubblici, zone residenziali e in prossimità di canali o ristagni d’acqua; che è obbligo, da parte dell’Amministrazione Comunale, predisporre e comunicare pubblicamente calendari di disinfestazione adulticida e larvicida, con relativi aggiornamenti e indicazioni preventive per i cittadini; che nella passata stagione ci sono stati diversi problemi riscontrati dai cittadini in alcune aree della città dovuti ad un mancato o tardivo intervento. Per queste motivazioni Campagni chiede “se siano stati programmati per l’anno in corso interventi di disinfestazione larvicida e/o adulticida sul territorio comunale; qual è la frequenza e la copertura territoriale di tali interventi, e se esiste un calendario pubblico delle azioni previste; se siano state coinvolte ditte specializzate mediante procedura pubblica e, in caso affermativo, con quali modalità e costi; se il Comune ha attivato campagne di sensibilizzazione/informazione alla cittadinanza su comportamenti utili a limitare la proliferazione delle zanzare (es. gestione dei ristagni d’acqua, uso di zanzariere, ecc.); se siano previste azioni specifiche per le aree maggiormente colpite o soggette a segnalazioni da parte dei residenti.”
