POPPI – un incontro con l’equipaggio del progetto TOM, tra testimonianze, solidarietà e musica live Il 1° agosto al Circolo Kontagio un’intera serata per raccontare e sostenere la flotta civile di monitoraggio in mare promossa da ARCI
Una serata di impegno civile, racconto dal vivo e musica per tenere accesi i riflettori su ciò che accade nel cuore del Mediterraneo. È questo lo spirito dell’iniziativa “Tutti gli Occhi sul Mediterraneo”, in programma giovedì 1° agosto a partire dalle ore 18:00 al Circolo Kontagio di Poppi (AR), promossa da ARCI Arezzo con il sostegno di ARCI Nazionale, Sheep Italia e il Sistema di Accoglienza e Integrazione (SAI). Protagonista dell’evento sarà il progetto TOM – Tutti gli Occhi sul Mediterraneo, una flotta civile impegnata nel monitoraggio in mare e nella difesa dei diritti umani lungo le rotte migratorie. Sarà un’occasione preziosa per ascoltare le testimonianze dirette di chi è ogni giorno in prima linea per salvare vite e documentare le violazioni che avvengono nel Mediterraneo centrale.
Alle ore 18.00 è previsto l’incontro pubblico con due membri dell’equipaggio: Maso Notarianni, capomissione, e Margherita Cioppi, soccorritrice. I loro racconti permetteranno di comprendere da vicino la realtà delle operazioni in mare, l’importanza del monitoraggio indipendente e il valore della solidarietà attiva.
A seguire, alle ore 20.00, si terrà un’apericena solidale in sostegno del progetto: un momento conviviale per contribuire concretamente alle prossime missioni della flotta TOM. La partecipazione alla cena richiede la prenotazione al numero 339 2123427.
La serata si concluderà alle 21.00 con un concerto di musica live a cura di Riverbero Recording Studio, con la partecipazione di band e artisti emergenti del territorio. m“Tutti gli Occhi sul Mediterraneo” non è solo un evento, ma un invito a non distogliere lo sguardo da quanto accade alle porte dell’Europa. Una chiamata all’impegno collettivo, che passa dalla conoscenza e dall’ascolto, ma anche dal sostegno concreto a chi opera in difesa della vita e dei diritti umani.
