Ha inaugurato ieri alle 18 la mostra “La Petite Bibliothèque Française, un’avventura editoriale tra Città di Castello e la Francia” con 3 turni di visita guidata da parte del curatore Enrico Paci sia alla mostra (negli spazi della libreria) che alla sede dell’archivio storico (nel mezzanino soprastante).
La storia della rivista mensile per studenti di francesi, pubblicata da Giuseppe Paci dal 1947 al 1966, è stata sviscerata toccando con mano documenti, corrispondenza, disegni originali (da quelli di Fernando Fusco a quelli di Baldino), materiale di stampa, nonché ricordi di famiglia. Un’immersione totale all’interno di un eroico esperimento editoriale che sarà oggetto, attraverso l’Università di Firenze, presente il prof. Giacomo Pirazzoli, di un progetto europeo per rintracciare esperienze simili in altri paesi dell’Unione. Emozionante la partecipazione da parte della figlia di Fernando Fusco, Sylvia, che ha ricordato il forte legame del padre con Città di Castello e Giuseppe Paci. Per l’occasione è stata anche presentata una nuova collana della casa editrice: “I QUADERNI”. Il primo dedicato appunto al disegnatore Fernando Fusco. Alla inaugurazione hanno partecipato le assessore alla Cultura, Michela Botteghi e al Turismo e Commercio, Letizia Guerri. Evento collaterale del Festival delle Nazioni, (presente per il festival il vice-presidente, Rodolfo Pambianco,) la mostra sarà visitabile fino al 12 settembre negli orari di apertura della libreria.
