«La chirurgia renale è sempre più complessa e richiede una stretta collaborazione tra diversi specialisti – spiega il dott. Annino -. L’ospedale ha costruito una squadra multidisciplinare che, oltre agli urologi, include oncologi, anestesisti, chirurghi generali e vascolari, radiologi, cardiologi. Questa sinergia è cruciale per affrontare i casi più difficili, come i tumori avanzati con trombi nella vena cava, dove è necessaria una presa in carico multidisciplinare per minimizzare i rischi di una procedura altamente complessa».
Numerosi i vantaggi per il paziente offerti dalla chirurgia mini-invasiva: oltre a salvare il rene, si riducono i tempi di degenza a pochi giorni, permettendo un recupero più rapido, si limitano le perdite di sangue e le ferite chirurgiche, si minimizza il rischio di complicanze post-operatorie.
