C’è una certa soddisfazione, innegabile, quando i fatti dimostrano che avevi ragione fin dall’inizio. Ma non sempre te lo puoi permettere: perché, sebbene la verità emerga, le conseguenze restano tutt’altro che piacevoli.Vediamo allora la questione, con qualche spunto di riflessione. Ora, la casa con giardino è il sogno di molti: un piccolo angolo di serenità, dove vivere con la famiglia, circondati dal verde, protetti da una bassa recinzione, con un cane che, d’estate, può decidere in autonomia se stare all’aperto o in casa.Eppure, oggi, ambientalismo e animalismo radicale hanno stabilito che non si possa più vivere così. Devi tenere i tuoi animali rinchiusi, devi legare il cane anche quando sei all’aperto, e se arriva il lupo… beh, devi lasciarglielo. Perché se osi difenderlo, rischi di finire all’ospedale.Nel Cortonese, addirittura, si invocano interventi per “salvare” giovani lupi malati di rogna. Due aspetti meritano attenzione. Primo: la mancata gestione della specie ha creato ciò che abbiamo definito “randagismo di Stato”. Territori saturi di Canis lupus che, oltre a colpire cani e gatti, diventano veicolo di ogni sorta di infezione.I nostri animali domestici sono curati e sottoposti a profilassi: vaccinazioni, trattamenti antiparassitari, controlli veterinari. Questo riduce la trasmissione delle patologie. Ma ora ci troviamo a convivere con lupi randagi, privi di ogni trattamento sanitario, trasformati in vettori ambulanti di malattie. E non parliamo nemmeno delle zoonosi.
Perché di fronte alle predazioni, c’è sempre qualcuno che recita, con aria saccente, che si tratta del “naturale ordine delle cose”, che è “normale” che il lupo predi ovunque e comunque. Ma quando la stessa “natura” — che, incidentalmente, non contempla né animalisti né veterinari — decide di ridurre la popolazione dei lupi, allora improvvisamente l’uomo deve farsi carico di loro. l risultato? Lupi randagi destinati ai CRAS o, peggio ancora, ai cosiddetti Santuari (SANTUARI!), che altro non sono che macchine raccogli-donazioni e fabbriche di convenzioni. Strutture create per mantenere non tanto gli animali (che sarebbe anche legittimo), quanto gli stessi animalisti: i nuovi “sacerdoti” dei santuari, rigorosamente “a rimborso spese”.C’è una certa soddisfazione, innegabile, quando i fatti dimostrano che avevi ragione fin dall’inizio. Ha deciso di impegnarsi in prima persona, tenendo aperti gli uffici comunali anche L’appello del Vice Sindaco di Castel Focognano, Marco Rosini. fuori orario per consentire ai cittadini di firmare la petizione. Un gesto che non solo dimostra senso civico, ma rivela un autentico amore per la propria comunità. Il comitato “Emergenza Lupo – Arezzo” esprime solidarietà e pieno sostegno a questa iniziativa: invitiamo tutti i cittadini di Castel Focognano a sostenere il proprio Vice Sindaco, perché non ci sono alternative. Ecco dove siamo arrivati. Nel frattempo, il Comune di Arezzo, grande assente su tutto ciò che accade al di fuori delle mura medicee, si concede passerelle soltanto alle rievocazioni storiche e agli eventi gastronomici. Sul resto, silenzio assoluto. Così, dopo le predazioni dei lupi sugli animali che popolavano il Parco di Lignano, un luogo meraviglioso, frequentato e amato, ben due assessorati hanno candidamente dichiarato di “non sapere come difendere gli animali dai lupi” (sì, avete letto bene) e hanno deciso che non vogliono più vederne nei recinti. Il risultato è sotto gli occhi di tutti: un parco in abbandono, privato di ciò che lo rendeva vivo, simbolico e identitario. E tutto questo in nome di un animalismo ideologico che, mescolato all’inefficienza amministrativa, diventa una miscela esplosiva capace di produrre danni enormi e irreversibili. Ma la popolazione locale non intende arrendersi. È nata così l’associazione “Uniti per Lignano”, fondata dall’Avvocato Sonia Rosini, Vice Presidente del nostro comitato. Obiettivo: ottenere il recupero del parco, il ripristino delle sue bellezze, lo sviluppo del territorio. A vantaggio della popolazione, non del cosiddetto rewilding radicale, che cancella tradizioni, opportunità e persino la sicurezza. Una nota di colore. Durante la redazione di questo comunicato siamo stati piacevolmente interrotti dalla chiamata di un nostro amico pastore friulano, Massimo Verbitz: una figura leggendaria nella difesa del mondo rurale, un combattente vero, che non ha esitato a sfidare anche la cosiddetta “mafia dei pascoli”. Massimo incarna l’unione fra la dolcezza dei territori curati dai pascoli e la ruvidità delle pietre delle Alpi. Fu lui, per primo, a contattarci nel gennaio 2023, appena nata la nostra associazione, per condividere con noi quel patrimonio umano che da oltre un decennio combatte contro la distruzione del mondo rurale e della pastorizia estensiva. Allora ci mostrò che non eravamo soli in questo degrado. Oggi ci ha chiamato dal Monte Tamaro, in Canton Ticino, dove lavora Il nostro amico Massimo Verbitz, una vita passata in difesa del mondo rurale e della pastorizia. in un alpeggio. E ancora una volta ci ha aperto gli occhi. La Svizzera ci insegna molto, anche in campo ambientale. Da un anno ha avviato un progetto di difesa proattiva nella gestione del lupo, esattamente l’opposto delle folli iniziative mangia-fondi che i “lupisti” vendono alle nostre regioni. Lì il lupo è tutelato, sì, ma in numeri contingentati, con densità non paragonabili alle italiane (pensate: nella sola provincia di Arezzo probabilmente ci sono più lupi che in tutta la Svizzera). Questo per proteggere allevamenti, pastorizia e sicurezza delle persone. E i risultati parlano chiaro: in un anno si è registrato un calo drastico delle predazioni, della presenza lupi nei centri abitati, delle aggressioni a persone e animali domestici. Certo, la saturazione dei nostri territori spinge i lupi verso il Ticino, aggravando lì gli attacchi. Ma dopo l’ultimo episodio, il governo federale ha aumentato i risarcimenti agli allevatori, che in Svizzera, diversamente dall’Italia, sono considerati una risorsa preziosa, parte integrante dell’identità nazionale.E Massimo ci racconta che nel suo alpeggio due guardie forestali sono state poste in appostamento per abbattere i lupi problematici. Semplice, diretto, risolutivo. Questa è l’unica difesa proattiva che funziona in tutto il mondo. Tranne che in Italia. Se smettessimo di lasciarci incantare dalle ipertrofiche sirene dell’animalismo radicale, gonfiato e drogato da troppo, decisamente troppo denaro pubblico, forse anche il nostro Paese potrebbe finalmente aspirare a definirsi civile.
